I'll admit, I have a pretty diverse bookshelf. I have the Harry Potter Complete Series box set 다음 to my Twilight books. People who burn/flame either book are either A. extraordinarily biased 또는 B. have a legitimate reason and may actually have something intelligent to say. To find out what people thought, I decided to ask people who surrounded me at school what their opinions were. If you're interested, read on...
I took a survey of my fellow female students to see what they thought at my middle school (what possessed me to do so, I cannot say), and many of the 답변 I heard were something of this sort:
1. Edward/Jacob is hot.
2. It has 더 많이 love.
3. It's easy and/or fun to read.
I also surveyed my male classmates to see why they hated Twilight (even worse than the last one):
1. It's gay.
Other than the fact that the boys who go to my school are prejudiced, single-minded homophobes, we can draw the conclusion that everyone who reads Twilight has a very strong opinion of it. Either the readers 사랑 it 또는 hate it. My conclusion is that 101% of boys never read Twilight in their and say it's gay anyway. (They probably said this because it's not masculine to read a 인기 girl's romance novel series and they judged the 책 before they got to know them).
While 읽기 this, you're probably wondering what I think of Twilight. Personally I like it (not as much as I like Harry Potter and Warriors) but it's still pretty high up on my list of 가장 좋아하는 books. I own the whole series, plus an unauthorized guide to the series and the movie book thing 또는 whatever. My one problem with the 책 is the unpleasable fanbase. I mean, 당신 can't get much ruder and meaner than completely-crazed Twilight fans. As an insanely obsessed Harry Potter fan, I can honestly say that I respect those who don't like Harry Potter. But if 당신 say something rude such as "I HATE HARRY POTTER!" 당신 can't expect me not to get offended and retaliate. I'd probably say something like "You've never read the 책 and 당신 know it. 당신 just say that because 당신 like Twilight," and expect 당신 to respond in a huffy way. This is understandable. But I 사랑 Twilight, so it, too, pisses me off when someone says it's stupid 또는 otherwise (whatever). Just remember though, I have never been a malicious fanatic.
