Trump / the populist right channels (righteous, justified) anger at the establishment and directs it towards minorities instead of those with political power. The so-called "culture war" shit wears so thin when you realise that our problems are with our economic and political systems, not with "should transgender people be allowed in public bathrooms?" and "is there a war on christmas?" My ire extends not just to conservatives but to libs that spend all day every day focusing on the superficial side of identity politics, or on getting women into government positions rather than actually fixing government. Libs also sometimes make out like white working class men are inherently racist or something - they are not, and they're also fucked over by the shitty system in their own way. Economic crashes are pretty much inevitable in our current system (the whole "boom and bust cycle" thing). Struggling and disillusioned workers realise that they being exploited; losing their jobs to outsourcing, barely making ends meet. Nationalist and fascist rhetoric can start to gain ground: the loss of jobs due to outsourcing can incite anti-foreigner feelings, and shitty living standards can incite radicalisation. The reptilians will seek to suppress sentiments that would actually change the economy for the better, but will not suppress nationalist sentiments, because the latter is less dangerous to their profit margins. Tl;dr Fascism is just the whole "the ruling class will try to misdirect anger from themselves towards minorities instead" thing taken to its extreme. We are disconnected from the product of our own labour. Not only do you not see the product, but the method of producing it (how it is made, how many are made, etc) are decided exclusively by the reptilians rather than the producers/workers themselves. The product is no longer the producer's - they own neither the product not the profits that come from it, they are merely given a wage for their time and body. The worker is now merely a stand-in for a machine. They are an organic cog in a larger system, and as soon as a machine can do it better the worker will be gone. It's incredibly demoralising to never see the product of your own labour, nor have any control over how it is made. Solution? Workplace democracy.
