I was getting bored of staring at a blank wall, so I decided to go for a walk. The storm outside banged against the rainy, cold air, and the rain patted against my window in a insteady, beautiful beat. I quietly stepped towards the door, noticing my thirteen 년 old brother, Max was sleeping on the couch. I grasped the cold doorknob and flew outside. As I walked outside I could feel the rain soak into my sweatshirt. i threw my 후드 over my head and shoved my hands into my pockets. i walked along the streets, cars that drove 의해 me honked, telling me to go back home. It was very cold out and the rain made the air around foggy. I looked aroud and saw only myself in the reflection of the puddles. I sat down under a 나무, 트리 and watched the cars drive by. "Onyx...are 당신 okay?" The person's voice spoke again, breaking the silence. Just then I looked up, overcoming my urge not to look up. I turned my head and saw Gwen looking at me. Her hair was wet and the water droplets were dripping down her face. Her eyes were wide and they were shining in the moon light that reflected off of her face. I smiled lightly, glad to see my cousin here with me.
