A 질문 about Tessa

When Tessa was first introduced, she was a Reaper and was answerable only to Death. They kept that consistent each time she reappeared until season 9. Then, in the episode where she died, she was being treated as an angel. She was working for Metatron while pretending to be working for Cas. But other Reapers in that season (like April) were still being treated as Reapers, not like Reapers are a subdivision of angels. What was going on there?

천사 don't have souls though, 또는 not ones in the same way as humans, ghosts, demons etc. They were never human. It was never explained where Reapers come from, so they could have existed from the dawn of time 또는 they could be select human souls chosen and changed 의해 Death. 수퍼내츄럴 has just pretty much been inconsistent with them throughout.
