I think ppl should let ppl do wat they wanna do , i mean if u wanna re-colcor than re-colcor , if u don't wanna re-colcor than don't re-colcor , i mean u can't control wat ppl wanna do , no matter how right 또는 wrong u think it is . Just let ppl do wat they want cuz u can't change it 또는 wat they think of re-colcor .
Yea u can keep putting 비디오 and pictrues ,but that not goan change anyones mind , i say let them do wat they wanna do ,cuz theres nothing u can do to change it at ALL .

Wow, 당신 ARE good at recoloring! ._. That looks, like, not a crappy one... But it's still a recolor, and it's still art theft. Maybe 당신 could use bases, if you're this good at recoloring, 당신 would be AWESOME with bases, and, they aren't art theft!
well i think people are free to re-color to make characters, but when they do, they shouldn't just change the color, they should be creative, and i think they should at least try to draw the characters themselves! something that i think is pretty wrong is that most re-color artists don't even try to draw, sometimes because they think they can't, here is a message for the those poeple! nobody is born with that skill, when i started drawing i had no skills and has the time went 의해 i got better even now i am still improoving. so don't give up if 당신 tried to draw your character for the first time and it didn't come out so good, everyone needs practise, after all, practise makes perfect
Oh wow, I can only the image the bad@$$ words that will occur on this 질문 -_-'. Anywho, It think it is fine as long as the person actally tries to make a good character. I know people says its bad but I disagree...But don't get me started on it...
my throughs on recoloring is that recoloring is not a 침대 thing to do people just recolor for fun but some people just get med at people for doing it anyways and want 당신 have the same 팬 character name and 당신 don,t know that they have the same name to people get med at that to but i just do this for fun and who ever agree with please say so now
It's impossible for me to recolor well, because A) I don't have a decent program and B) Even if I did it'd still suck.
So, I draw. It's much easyer for me and I find it to be much 더 많이 fun.
What's more... Recoloring is art theft, no matter what people say, thus meaning they should stop. If they're just doing it for fun, then that's fine so long as they keep them offline.
I don't mind if it's a screenshot from Sonic X 또는 something official, because they can just give credit to SEGA and everyone's happy.
HOWEVER... if it's a fellow fan's art, and 당신 recolor that, it is against the law. 당신 really shouldn't do that unless 당신 ivecredit AND ask the original artist's permission.

I agree on all points :P Even though I have no idea how it can be fun drawing over someone's picture... I would only feel bad. Plus that drawing everything 의해 myself is tons of fun, even if I mess up things pretty often XD
Recoloring is ok. 당신 should let people do what they want to do. Like your the boss of yourself. if people want to recoler a picture and put it online let them. like 당신 should never care what others think of 당신 just do what 당신 think is right. And if people say bad stuff to 당신 당신 shouldn't mind. and be yourself. so who cares if people hate putting recolored pictures online thats them your you. just don't mind it when people disrespect 당신 but 당신 have to stand up to yourself too. but if your recoloring a picture that not yours don't take the credit.

=/ I must disagree. If it's a recolored Sonic X screenshot, then give credit to SEGA. If it's official SEGA stuff, give credit to SEGA. If it's a fellow 팬 work, ask them if 당신 can use it and if they say no, deal with it. If they say yes, give credit and a link to the original. 또는 use bases, they work fine too, 당신 don't need to give credit, and 당신 don't need to ask permission. What's more, for bases, no-one will ever get, as Soniconpudaisy says, 'med'.
Well Recolors Are Against The Law! If 당신 Recolor SEGA'S Images, They Could Sue 당신 Cause Their Not Rightfully Yours. However, 당신 Must Give SEGA FULL Credit. I Don't Think 당신 Should Do Recolors. Bases are another thing. Crediting Yourself For Recoloring Pictures From Here,Deviantart, and Any Show Series Could Sue You. But That's Only If Sega Found Out. That's called Plagrislm. And 당신 Could Get Arrested.
Well, I myself don't really think SEGA gives a shit if people recolor... But credit is still due. DA and other fans, however... Permission must be asked and credit given.

recolors are just excuses to not draw.....why wont the recolorists (NOt my 프렌즈 who recolor cause they rock) use tutorials like i did!!!! i no i cant draw good but really!!? real arts are what i like cause they have passion and orginality recolors are stupid and unorginality who ever agrees with me vote this as best answer
