Another month, and another series of ten indie games to talk about. This time, we got no stinkers this time. Maybe a few games that could be seen as nothing to grand, but I assure you, all good indie titles, and all worth your time. No We Happy Fews 또는 YIIKs here, ladies and gents. And we’re starting ourselves off with a real treat today, one of the best indie games out there. That’s right, it’s the one and only, Minecraft- Cuphead, yeah. That’s the one I meant
Cuphead and his pal, Mugman, they like to roll the dice. After stumbling upon a casino owned 의해 the Devil, they wager their souls in the hopes of getting a winning bet. I think 당신 know where this goes. Now the two are on a mission to collect the soul contracts from the Devil’s other debtors in order to save their souls from eternal damnation. Played out in the story just like that of a classic cartoon from the 30s, the game’s visuals compliment that fact. This game has an 애니메이션 that is so good, I’d dare say it beats Skullgirls in it’s hand drawn art. The sheer amount of transformations and movement from all of the characters in this game, 당신 can feel the passion and effort put into each and every single character. The rubber hose aesthetic that was the custom in those old 만화 really fits the world of Cuphead perfectly and gives it a unique style that is unlike any other indie game. You’d be mistaken to assume that this was even an indie game and not a triple A big budget game. This game took a lot of time to perfect, as it was delayed again and again. But a wise man once said a delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is bad forever. Miyamoto, president of Nintendo, currently rushing Pokemon Sword and Shield.
But 당신 don’t need me to tell 당신 how good the art is. 당신 can see that for yourself. How is the gameplay? Hard! Really fucking hard. This game, despite only being made up of boss fights, is one of the hardest games I’ve ever played. 당신 think Dark Souls is hard, Polygon journalist? Have 당신 never played through Dark Souls III and felt how easy it was? No, I didn’t think so. Cuphead has no room for heals, no room for mistakes. 당신 gotta be fast and ready to 옮기기 on a dime. Even the easiest bosses can mess 당신 up if 당신 aren’t moving and shooting. It only takes one mistake on the controls to get caught in the crossfire. 당신 get three hits, four if 당신 really want to lower your attack power, and that’s it. No heals aside from one boss, and no breaks. The bosses though, aren’t too long. They are about two to three 분 and are able to be beaten quickly. But 당신 are only able to beat them if 당신 have the skills to. And after every death, which I assure you, 당신 will get, 당신 will always see how far 당신 got into the boss fight, along with a taunt from the boss. Seeing how far 당신 got, seeing how 당신 just barely 로스트 to the boss right when 당신 were close pushes 당신 to keep going. 당신 know 당신 can do it. 당신 learned the bosses attacks, now 당신 are ready to go in again for another chance. But even then, all the bosses are insanely fun. Some are harder than others, but there is not one bad boss here. They all feel fair and while difficult, never once do they feel cheap… Well, except for Dr. Kahl’s Robot… That was pretty bullshit. But aside from that, every boss is fun to look at their animation, fun to fight and get a high score on, and just a ton of fun to try and beat with a friend.
Finally, an indie game with co-op that my 프렌즈 actually wanted to play. In two player mode, the 2nd player plays as Mugman, and now 당신 would think the game gets easier… ha ha ha ha ha. Oh, 당신 wish. Bosses that I learned the moves of and could wipe the floor with becomes so much harder thanks to the added health they get from two players mode. 당신 think the game is gonna get easier just cause 당신 got a friend? This shit ain’t Dark Souls, motherfucker! Learn the moves again and keep your buddy from dying too early 또는 you’re as good as dead. The game doesn’t let 당신 cheap your way out. 당신 wanna win, 당신 gotta learn to get better. No way 당신 can cheese these bosses. And I can admire that, honestly. And can we talk about the fully orchestrated score that this games soundtrack has. The smooth jazz and the great use of 음악 from the times really flows with this games pleasing aesthetic to make the already visually impressive game a beauty to the ears as well. My god, how can an indie game be so damn perfect in so many ways? How can a small team of two guys who mortgaged their homes create something so damn perfect!?
So yeah, uh.. Cuphead… It’s pretty good. The game has become not only a critical success, but financial as well. It is an indie game that rivals Undertale in popularity now, and while Toby 여우 is making video game 음악 for major companies like Game Freak, the Pokemon team, Cuphead has managed to get an upcoming DLC and an upcoming Netflix animated series. I think it's 안전한, 안전 to say that Cuphead has become a success, and boy did it deserve it.

Dude, this is scary! Let me tell 당신 want happened.
I was walking up some stairs at school (we have alot of stairs) and a guy, a student I don't know is screaming at me,
"HEY!"
As I normally do, I replied "Hi." Now here is the disturbing part. He said (and still yelling),
"CAN I MESSAGE YOUR TOES?"
I was shocked. A stranger wants to touch my toes! So I said "No" and he did a "Darn"
Then he told all his 프렌즈 that I'm was his girlfriend. I was scared! It was soooo random. He asked me if the was true 또는 not so he can prove it. Awkwardly, I answered "Yea......." THEN, then he did this really weird dance. He skipped and clapped at the same time. His 프렌즈 were laughing and he called me "Sweetheart"

I ran into the bathroom. Dominic and Spencer were in the bright 담홍색, 핑크 doorway.
Belinda was on the floor. Scarlet was watching Spencer. Spencer was crying. Wait. Spencer was crying. Wow. I think he's sick. Spencer's always smiling stupidly and talking about stupid things in a stupid voice. Not crying. Spencer has never cried. I'm his sister so I would know. I walked over. Spencer was hugging Dominic. My face flushed with anger. Spencer was my brother, not Dominic's.
"Spencer," I said. "She's gonna like you."
Spencer wiped away a tear. I got him a tissue and splashed water on his face. He was going to get detention. Oh well. He doesn't care anyway.
