Since Shake it Up has ended (thank goodness), I've decided to write a review on it. This show sucks. Big time.

Yeah... People of that moronic show expect me to call THAT music? That whole song 또는 whatever the hell that was was nothing but auto-tune & editing!

They are awful actors, shitty singers (they don't even sing), and the characters are complete Mary-Sues! As for their dancing... please! All they do in that show is 옮기기 around & look like a bunch of monkeys. I've watched plenty of solid dancing movies, & let me tell 당신 that these dancers are horrible, and no way in hell they would get a job as dance teachers with that kind of dancing, & they couldn't even dance to save their own lives (despite the fact that Zendaya is a great dancer on Dancing With the Stars... ONLY on Dancing With the Stars).
If 당신 want to see solid coordination, & truly awesome dancing, then watch the Step Up movies, Footloose (remake), Hairspray, 또는 Smash. Now those 영화 (Smash being a TV show) right there know what dancing is about, whereas Shake It Up doesn't even have any splits, jazz, ballet, 또는 even leaping. 당신 call that dancing? Because if 당신 do, then 당신 seriously need some help.

is some truly sick dancing. And something that actually takes effort to do & learn. I would know, I tried it, & it is not easy, but I had fun trying it, because I 사랑 dancing as much as I 사랑 음악 in general.

is basic, staged dancing that anyone can easily learn, imitate, & even improve. I can easily add something to that dance that can make it better, & 당신 know what, I can completely change the whole dance itself & make it far superior.
And that whole video was nothing but 더 많이 horrible auto-tuning, obvious & crappy lip syncing (they're not even singing), mediocre dance steps (if 당신 can even call them that), & terrible clothing. If 당신 call that music, then 당신 seriously need your head cut open & have your brain examined.

The show teaches young viewers to dress like sluts, and become whores. Because apparently, dancing for someone to earn money for a cellphone is something very appropriate to teach kids (yes, the idiot characters in this show danced for some guy in one episode to get money just to buy themselves a phone).
The characters themselves are also a bunch of no-personality Mary Sues. I've seen far less Mary Sue-ish characters in Twilight. Yeah, CeCe & Rocky make Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, & 에라곤 look full of 더 많이 personality, depth, & characterization. How low to stoop.
Hell, I laughed so hard when they said they were giving auditions in the U.S. for anyone who'd want to be on that show for a moment. Hell no! I would NOT be caught dead on 디즈니 Channel. If I was so desperate for money & fame, I'd ask 엠티비 to give me my own crap reality show. I'd want to be in some REAL 디즈니 노래 REAL 디즈니 음악 like in Pocahontas, Mulan, Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Tangled, The Princess & the Frog, Aladdin, Beauty & the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Fantasia [2000], Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio, & every other 디즈니 animated movie! Well, except for the shit ones like some of the direct-to-video 디즈니 sequels (even though those are still better than Shake it Up & 디즈니 channel).

And if 당신 thought that just wasn't bad enough, the horrible writers of this "show" had to make a "joke" about eating disorders. I HAD to see it myself to believe, because at first I didn't want to (and seeing how mean-spirited this show was in general it didn't surprise me). One character in this show, a 인기 talk show host 또는 something, saw both Rocky & CeCe & said, "You guys are so adorable! I could just eat 당신 guys up...You know...If I ate." *Laugh box goes off*. Not only did this joke offend people with an actual eating disorder (including Demi Lovato who was once on that network), but it also offended people who DIDN'T have any disorders at all. So what, the writers expect kids to laugh at someone who has a serious disorder which not even the most insane of people would laugh at? It started a shitstorm of controversy & since then the episode was removed EVERYWHERE, and shows later on with the joke removed, like Jessie with the gluten "joke" (like that's going to make anyone forget).

And according to Lovato herself, this wasn't the first time the network has used eating disorder jokes. The shitty show So Random! also had an eating disorder joke. This was also one of the reasons Demi Lovato left the network. 당신 know a network's writers are doing something wrong when a girl who dealt with eating disorder calls 당신 out on it.
So yeah, that's it. Why kids call this shit comedy, let alone 음악 over something like iCarly is beyond me.

Seriously, the crap they do on this show disgust me. it's not dancing. It's moving to 음악 in a way that takes so little talent and practice. I would 사랑 to see them try pointe, lyrical, contemporary, tap, jazz, musical theatre, and real hip hop. Real hip hop is hard, not the shit they're doing. I dread hip hop classes because it takes extreme technique and talent to do the things real hip hop dancers do. Hip hop isn't easy. What they're doing is a disgrace to dance. I just wanna walk up to those two and tap until I break the 본즈 in my feet, leave myself bruised and bleeding then tell them to try and out-tap me. Because I bet they wouldn't be able to do a single god-damned tap, shuffle, 또는 flap.

Does this look easy to you? If so, then apparently I've had the wrong idea of what difficulty is my entire dancing career, cause if what those people on Shake it Up are doing is considered difficult, then I should just give up dancing.

EgoMouse Nobody even watches the show or even care about it. We get it, you hate it. Stop talking about it or more people are going to watch it and there will be more fans. Snowball effect. How do you even know so much about the show when you hate it anyways? Some people don't really care about dancing either. Not everyone understands how to dance or the difference between good and bad dancing. We get it, its your opinion. This is also my opinion. Your hatred is just going far and beyond the threshold. There's going to be people who likes it whether you like it or not. It apparently ended, put it to rest.

KataraLover It's not just a kids show, teenagers watch it too, for some reason I do not know. My niece watches this show, along with all the other garbage on it. once i was watching that episode with the offensive eating disorder thing and she told me "Hers doesn't eat? That is NOT healthy" and I couldn't agree more. Shows like this teach kids bad morals and kids are influenced by a lot of things. I mean a little girl saved her best friend's life because of a small scene from Hey Arnold. Bad things, even small ones, can cause a lot of trouble for kids because they to get a lot of influence from shows and movies they watch. I don't think the girls on the show dress like sluts at all, I think they dress great but that's just me. Dressing like a slut would be if they wore short or skirts up to their vagina and a shirt that shows their belly button. I love Miley Cyrus and she dresses revealing, which isn't bad because we came into the world naked so the body is a beautiful thing. However I don't think girls should dress like her that are like under 18. But the girls on the show don't dress like sluts at all and are very appropriate, although the foreign girl dresses like she's from the circus. You didn't really go into detail on how the characters are Mary-Sues or why they're really horrible characters, though anyone who's seen the show knows why. Cece and Flynn was enjoyable for most of the first season, they were realistic and were similar to past Disney Channel characters from good shows. They even made Cece more complex by praying to God in a serious tone and giving her dyslexia (like Bella Thorne, her actress). However soon they just developed horrible character traits and lost their good traits. But the last episode actually made good sense, I saw it when I was picking up my niece, because Cece lost her memory and Rocky tried to remind her of them being best friends but decides to do that by telling of all the trouble she's got her in. Cece asks "If that's all true, why are we best friends?" EXACTLY!!!!!!!!! Disney also offended Miley Cyrus, another former star on the network, with that gluten joke. She didn't say anything about it but it was offensive because she developed an allergy to dairy and gluten products, which caused her to lose her Goddess like body with GORGEOUS curves because of this allergy and lost a lot of weight. She's gaining weight now but it's not like it was before. Disney Channel is run by EVIL people, just listen to Miley Cyrus' song Robot and it'll sum it all up. I think the only good actors on the show are Bella Thorne and Davis Cleveland, despite having horrible characters. Caroline Sunshine and Kenton Duty are probably good actors but I haven't seen them in anything to judge since they're total hams on this show with those fake accents. The others can't act, especially Zendaya, who in my opinion is one of the worst actresses I've ever seen in my life. She's a bad singer as well, in fact the only good singers on the show are Caroline and Kenton. Personally I think the dancing on the show is good but keep in mind I know nothing about dancing. However you're right in saying the other dances are MUCH better! I don't know anything about dancing because the only dancing I've done is choir is basic, WAY MORE basic than Shake It Up. I do kind of have a soft spot for the one where they do that salsa dance, mainly because of the costumes, the song, and the style of it. Everyone, hatelarxene is really going over the top and could do this in a better way. However, when it involves children and the morals they'll get from it that will effect them there's reason to freak out. The shows are only getting worse and worse. The teen fans are the worse, I have yet to meet a fan of the show that's a teenager that wasn't a complete internet troll or had one ounce of maturity in them. With kids it's understandable that they like it because they haven't developed taste yet and most likely when they get older will realize that it was awful, despite the nostalgia, it was awful.

Zeppie Hmm.. Well, the show is not good television, clearly. A few years ago I did watch some episodes in the background while I was doing a school assignment one day and it wasn't my cup of tea. Bless those girls for trying but they just aren't very good actors nor likeable characters and yes, the dancing is just childs play. I trained in ballroom dancing for most of my life so I am aware of what would be considered good dancing technique, and this show is unfortunately lacking however, it's going to be enjoyable dancing to watch for a much younger audience. What's a kid to know of polished dance technique after all, kids just want to jump around and have fun. I'd just label it as a kids show that is not to be taken seriously. Granted kids shows are not all bad, a lot of the so-called 'kids shows' that I grew up watching were fantastic and this doesn't compare...but...yeah. I couldn't give a single care about this show, it's done and dusted or so I heard, so let it be a (dreadful) thing of the past :)
