I tell them that I'm asexual so they shouldn't take it personally. I just don't do relationships.

I'd also inform them that if I said yes to their 날짜 request that I probably wouldn't be much fun as I don't like kisses and I don't care for hugs.

Long story short "It's not you, it's me."

Are 당신 really?

Yup. I'm 19; haven't had a date--because I've never wanted one. I've never had a crush (unless 당신 count my joking crushes on fictional characters). Though I'm not entirely apposed to being in a relationship, if someone really wanted me and could deal with my hatred of any physical contact than I'd give them a shot.

So, what if... you're a decent person with decent looks and 당신 like the idea of being with someone... yet 당신 never have in any type of way? What would that make that person? Anti-social/afraid? Not ready/not willing to take risks? Oh man... I just figured myself out. It all makes sense now! >_>

Not necessarily. If 당신 like the idea of being with someone, maybe 당신 just have to find the right person...that person 당신 really want to be with.

Be honest, but don't be mean about it. Just tell him/her that 당신 don't feel the same way right now. 당신 may grow to like them, but those feeling have not developed yet. 또는 당신 could say that 당신 are not interested in dating at the moment and would like to just stay 프렌즈 for now. If 당신 are just coming out of a relationship say that 당신 want to wait awhile before 당신 날짜 someone else. Just don''t lead the person on if 당신 are not interested. Just to better help you. How old are you? Are 당신 allowed to date?

I'm not the "relationship" type so I'd say.....

"Um...... Sorry, dude, I don't mean to be rude, but I'm just...not really interested."

I'd say it in the nicest way possible. And if their feelings were still hurt, well...dang, IDK.

Ehh...well, it's happened (just like, not love) then I ended up saying something along the lines of "I'm really sorry, but I don't think I'm ready for a relationship right now". I mean I'd never string someone along, I'd rather just cut them off. I felt extremely horrible about it afterwards though :l

I'd say "are 당신 just trying to make me feel worse about myself?" cause generally when people tell me that they just laugh in my face and say "aw you're so gullible no one would 사랑 you."

"Love"? That has got to be serious. What? Should I say, "Thanks. Please keep the 사랑 so 당신 may not be short of it for yourself"? <-- It's rather rude. Well, I'll just say that I appreciate it. (though I may not be able to pull any warm smile at that. Just expressionless/indifferent.)

Ugh, this has actually happened to me before, and it was horrible! DX It may not sound that bad, but I really didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings, and everyone around me was pressuring me to be his girlfriend.
Anyhoo, that's enough of that. What I would do is tell them honestly that I like them, but just as a friend.

why would i even hint that i do, it would just keep their hopes up. and that is messed up. i wouldnt want them always thinking " maybe she likes me" but i would want them to just get over me and like someone else.
