Cuddy had just put down the book she was 읽기 and was shutting off her bedside lamp when House quietly made his way through her front door.
Cuddy didn’t hear him. She curled up under her sheets and pulled them all the way up to her chin, ready for sleep.
House took off his shoes and threw his 재킷, 자 켓 blindly on a 침상, 소파 in the living room. He went to the 부엌, 주방 to grab a glass of water, breathing deeply, tired after a long 일 of trying, in vain, to solve his latest case.
Cuddy heard her door squeak open and a slim 레이 of light made its way to her eyelids from the hallway. Not having fallen asleep yet, she twisted her neck, lifting up her head to see what was going on. And then she saw him, House, standing in the doorway of her bedroom, outlined 의해 the hallway light, making his way in slowly.
“Did 당신 solve your case? I- I didn’t think 당신 were coming?” she asked, a little confused.
“Patient is relatively stable but we still don’t know what’s wrong with him” he answered while taking off his jeans . “And…” he rolled his eyes “I missed you” he added, almost against his will.
Cuddy looked at him tenderly, a wide smile claiming her lips. She scooted backwards to make room for him in the bed, but House made his way around it, to her side, and slipped under the sheets so that her back was against his chest, his arm snaking around her to rest his hand on her abdomen, right below her breasts .
Cuddy shivered slightly at his touch but relaxed in his arms. She moved back to the center of the 침대 to make sure House wouldn’t fall off and turned her head to look at him, her hand now resting on his bicep.
“I’m glad you’re here then.” She kissed him tenderly before turning back, letting her hand drift along his arm until their hands were intertwined. House placed a chaste 키스 on the back of her neck, moving closer to her so that the whole lengths of their bodies were in contact. He inhaled the scent of her shampoo before finally closing his eyes, allowing them both to drift slowly into a peaceful sleep.
Everything was in its place.

When does 사랑 become something we need, rather than something we want? 사랑 was seen as something special a long time ago. Now 사랑 is what we are expected to have with us everyday of our lives. 사랑 is common currency when 당신 are a teenager, but turns to worthless pennies the older 당신 get. Do we not care about the substance of what 사랑 was and not what it has been made into today 의해 commercialisation from American 영화 and 텔레비전 commercials and soap operas? Only when we experience 사랑 for real, can we 코멘트 and judge others who are in Love. 사랑 means something different to everyone. Not two people’s feeling of 사랑 is the same. Why do we generalize, rationalize and compartmentalize Love? 사랑 is and will continue to be an enigma. Only a handful of people will ever unlock it and witness its true beauty and essence. The essence we all crave.
Love.
Love.
