If 당신 were a casting director, who would 당신 cast in Twilight/HP.

A lot of people who have a problem with Twilight is because of the 영화 and particularly Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles (not saying ALL people 또는 anti-Twilight). So if 당신 had a choice to pick the actors in Twilight and/or Harry Potter, who would 당신 choose? Give explanations why 당신 would pick them, 또는 why 당신 don't like who's already been cast.

Harry Potter-I imagined Umbridge to be shorter and have a 더 많이 toad like face as she was described in the book. Although Imelda Staunton is a good actress, I just didn't see her as Umbridge. They could have picked an unknown actress to portray her role.

Twilight-Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson should have been replaced with Emily Browning and Gaspard Ulliel. They each have 더 많이 연기 talent then both KStew and RPattz combined. They also look like Bella and Edward (as many people agree). I've even 게시됨 pics of them as Bella and Edward and they totally pwn the actors they have now.

Okay, now you're turn. No bashing another person's choices without giving valid reasons for your answers. I didn't say anything like 'Kristen and Robert sucks!' 또는 'HP is for nerds!' I'm just curious to see what everyone's 답변 are :]

Imelda Staunton was a great actress and I cannot imagine any other in that role.

I agree. She is a good actress. Maybe they should have changed her appearance slightly. Put a big bow on her head perhaps? :p

I didn't like Bredan Gleeson as Moody either (for much the same reason: he's too quirky for paranoid Moody). Although, admittedly, I really can't think of who could have played him.
Sirius kind of bugged me too. I don't really know why - Gary Oldman isn't too far off from what I pictured and he's not a bad actor. I kinda like the thought of Stuart Townsend playing Sirius though.

Twilight: I agree with you; Emily Browning as Bella. I didn't care for Rob, Jackson, 또는 Cam as Edward, Jasper, 또는 James. Alexander Skarsgaurd would have made a beastly James. Ryan Phillipe could have played a good Jasper and I like Henry Cavill as Edward.

Just my opinion :)

Agree about the Michael Gambon and Brendan Gleeson bit. As for Twilight, I think Stephenie wanted Henry but he was too old at the time.

For Bella I would have picked Emily Browning because she's an amazing actress and doesn't have that annoying voice that Kristen Stewart has.

For Harry Potter: Ian Mckellan as Dumbledore. I'm pretty sure that the only reason I hate the Dumbledore character now is because they totally did a rewrite of his personality in the 영화 after Harris died. If they had kept the peaceful Dumbledore I might not have a problem with Gambon.

I can't really think of anyone else to play 통스 but Natalia Tena is just horrible IMO.
I 사랑 the idea of Stuart Townsend as Sirius even though I 사랑 Gary Oldman. I would have recast Moody too but I don't know who I would pick to be him. Perhaps Billy Connolly.

I also think that if they had made Clemence Poesy look a little 더 많이 veela like she would just be perfect.

I like Gleeson as Moody. And I like Gary as Sirius. Not so sure on new Dumbledore though...

I've heard a few people say they'd like Johnny Depp as Sirius... I don't know...

Johnny is a good actor, but not as Sirius. Plus, he wouldn't get cast because he's not British. The studio wanted an all Brit cast.

I don't think Emma would associate herself with that movie. She's even quoted as saying Twilight sells sex, so she probably wouldn't want to be Bella after saying that lol.

Yes,I know Emma hates Twilight.And I would definitely won't want Emma to play such a badly-written character.But she would have been a better help.But I don't think that such a badly-written character could be played 의해 such an awesome actress.

For Twilight... well, this may sound stupid, but I would get Youtubers to be the Twilight cast. I feel that they can make it 더 많이 lively. 프레드 would be Edward, iJustine is Bella, Tobuscus is Jacob, and everyone from ThatGuyWithTheGlasses would be the rest.
