Anyone else think Twilight would have been better if it had been written 의해 someone else?

I was just thinking about this, and why Twilight has so many haters, and 당신 know what I realize? The storyline itself really isn't that bad. If the 글쓰기 had been better, and there had been less plot holes, less cringe-worthy dialouge, less purple prose, less one-demensional characters, an actual plot, some kind of point to the story, and less um...."creative" mythology, Twilight actually could have been considered quality literature. Siriusly guys, I really think Twilight could have been good, even great, in the hands of a less fail writer. So, for antis (obviously) what do 당신 guys think?
Twilight fans, feel free to answer too, but don't say things like IT IZ PERFACT DA WAY IT IZ!!! Give an actual reason why 당신 disagree.

I don't disagree, completely.

I really like Twilight for the story in general. Stephenie could have done better, but I don't believe she failed.

It seems to me like she rushed through it.
Just my theory:
I don't know how much she wrote before the first book was released, but I'm guessing she took her time on that one, then rushed through the rest of the parts once she saw how successful it was.

I think the first one is written very well.
Kind of as if she had a lot of notes and everything to tie up the loose ends, but forgot about them in her rush to finish writing.

I don't necessarily believe a different person would have done it better. She could have done wonderfully if she spent 더 많이 time on it.

I agree, in a way. I think a large part of Meyer's problem is that she rushed and wouldn't take criticism. She was so eager to get this "wonderful story" out there, that she didn't develop any characters 또는 any of the plot. Perhaps, had she taken her time, it would have been better.

Or, had she accepted criticism and listened to (and incorporated into her story) what those publishers that turned her down had said.

Yes, especially the "creative" mythology thing. I even have a list of writers who could salvage Twilight:

J.K. Rowling
Joss Whedon
Rick Riordan
L.J. Smith
Dan Brown
Anthony Horowitz
James Patterson (though Bella would most likely be renamed "Max")
Meg Cabot

I think the basic idea was good, but Meyer just pissed it down her leg 의해 not being able to prosecute it. She's waaaay too interested in Bella/Edward to bother creating anything interesting beyond their whimsy 사랑 affair. And in order to write a good book, 당신 can't just write the parts that 당신 are most eager to write, 당신 have to write the parts that 당신 are struggling through, too!
