You... actually thought I, for one minute, liked that crap?

I was a Twi-fan, actually. It wasn't until B.D came out that I snapped out of it.

I was only a 팬 for a few months when I was 읽기 the series and after but after I read the first one again I started to lose interest and realized how horrible of a book it was compared to HP

I was a twihard. 당신 know, the annoying kind... Yeah, that was me. Let's see, I know I read Twilight in April of 09, and I was a very obsessive 팬 up until December, when I started to get over it. I was still a 팬 though. Until this past April, when I read HP. I was like "Why'd I waste my time 읽기 that crap?". That's when it ended, and that is my story.

Haha! I used to be a HUGE Twihard! But then I started 읽기 HP and I just DIED because of the awesomeness!!! I still like Twilight but it only takes and HP movie trailer to make me shiver xD!!!

I read Twilight in '07-'08 and LOVED IT. Actually, everyone in my class did. When I tried talking to other people about it, they were like, "What's Twilight?"

Anyway, I use to read it and get addicted. I hated Edward because I felt like everything was his fault.
I had moved into a new, small town and was highly depressed. Twilight gave me comfort somehow because to know that Bella was having a perfect life made me feel happy too. I read the back and felt angry when it said, "Back off, Harry Potter!" Why would ANYONE judge compare the stupid, boring Harry Potter to the wonderful Twilight?
My English teacher told me that I had to read 더 많이 책 and Twilight was at a 4th grade 읽기 level (I hated her for saying that, but now I agree). My bestfriend was a huge 팬 (now I'm a bigger 팬 than her) and she forced me to read it.
I remember thinking, "This is going to be HORRIBLE." I became interested and was nearing the end and discovered I spent all the my 일 읽기 it. One thing annoyed me. I hated it when I found out something before the characters did. So I kept thinking, "Just tell Dumbledore about Snape! UGH!" Anyway, at that point I was zoning out KNOWING they would find Snape, but then I read the ending. I felt soo stupid and I flipped back like 10 times to see if I wasn't crazy. I wasn't expecting Quirriel at all. After that, I figured the rest of the 책 would be the same way and I wasn't dissapointed.
I began to have a growing interest in 글쓰기 and reading. One day, I was watching Harry Potter Puppet Pals, and on the "related videos" it said "Harry Potter VS. Twilight." I became curious and read the 코멘트 and finally understood what was bothering me when I read the book. Twilight was horrible.
I looked up many 기사 to see if anyone agreed and found 더 많이 reasons and then I became angry that Steph. actually let the HP 코멘트 be 게시됨 on her book!

From that 일 on, I became a Twi-Hater.

When I first heard about Twilight and they said it was better than Harry Potter I was kinda in denial.I didn't want to believe it was better.I went to see New Moon and it was so boring.But then my cousin lend me the first movie and I thought it was okay,so I decided to try out the book.After a few pages I came to my senses and realized it was crap.I might have thought it was okay for a very short time,but I never considered it better than Harry Potter,because that would be impossible.

I used to be a Twilight fan, i'd already read Harry Potter so re-reading that didn't help me not like Twilight, it was when I read other vampire 책 and realised how shit Twilight was

I liked the first two pages of the book. Then I realized it was total crap. The protagonist of the story is just plain stupid. I literally forced my way through it. HP FTW!

I never was a fan. I actually thought it got off to an interesting start, but after 읽기 400 pages of endless descriptions of a character's beauty, I was ready to throw it at the wall.

I was a huge TwiHard. It began in about May 2008 (one of my best 프렌즈 had told me how good it was) so I bought Twilight after school one day. I read it in about 3 days, and immediately bought the second. And the third. For the rest of the 년 that's all my 프렌즈 and I could talk about.

When the summer hit, everyone was excited because Breaking Dawn was coming out in August. To be honest, I never bought it until 8 months later. Throughout the rest of the summer and through September I was thinking, "is the book worth buying?" (I had barely any money, and didn't intend to waste it on anyone one book.) Finally, I decided I would just borrow it from a friend. And I finally DID borrow it - in November.

Oh yeah, I was obsessed with the movie, too. When it finally came out on March 20th (the Saturday before my birthday) I got it as my birthday present, and for two weeks straight that was what I watched directly after school. 의해 that time my whole family was getting sooooo tired of Twilight (Except for my mom, who has YET to read Breaking Dawn). So yeah, I was OBSESSED.

Then, in the summer of '09, I read Harry Potter for the first time. I had a very bad ear infection, and my mom felt so bad for me she checked out the first book for me (she knew I'd wanted to read it for a while). I'd seen the movies, and thought they were cool - but nothing special. Boy, was I wrong. I was very surprised when I finished the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone and discovered I was actually sad that I didn't have the 다음 one. A couple days later, I got the 다음 few books, and read them in 3 days. That was when I realized I was officially over Twilight. After all four Twilight books, not ONE of them got me as excited as I got when Harry won the Quidditch Championship in Prisoner of Azkaban.

And when you're 더 많이 excited about a QUIDDITCH GAME than 당신 are about an entire book series, that's pretty sad.

And then I checked out TwilightSucks . com to see what it was about, and got converted to a semi-anti. I'm not a complete anit though - I still read the Twilight 책 from time to time when I'm really bored, to see how many times Bella uses the word "chagrin" (It's a lot, 의해 the way.) But Harry Potter will always be better.

It was a warm summer day...
I went to the library, because I wanted to get Twilight. I had read the first chapter before and thought it was ok, but I stopped 읽기 it for some reason. Luckily, before I started 읽기 it for the 초 time, I had read Harry Potter. I realized that it wasn't as good, and never picked it up again. The End!

When I first read twilight, i read like, 3-6 chapters

i gave up on it for a month
but everyone in my class said it was really good so it took awhile for me to get back to where i finishd(caus i forgot where it was)

I finished the whole novel

Then the series

I did become a twilight fan
my mom was on the Hp side and she said "why do 당신 like it better then twilight?"

I said "Edwards hot"
yea i said that (but i can honestly say that during thoses times, I hated him and he pissed me off, I just never realized it)

it took me a 월 또는 two to find out what it realy was
("a freak!"lol)
While i was a twilight fan, I had all those twilight fails in my head (no plot, edward, bella's stupid personalities, over descriptiveness, etc.)
I just dismissed thoses as flaws though I thought those flaws really pissed me off and the 책 had bored me from the start

I was all "I'M BACK BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I was a huge Twilight 팬 until I read the 초 book. My like of it came back a little when I finally read the third book. I started 읽기 the fourth book and it was so laughable that I started hating Twilight again.

I used to 사랑 Twilight. (You can probably tell because of my name.) But now I just... can't stand it. It's okay but it's so lame. I liked it for about a 년 before I found 팬팝 and Harry Potter. Twilight can't even compare to Harry Potter. And when Hermione slapped Draco in.. I think it was the Prisoner of Azkaban? GIRL POWER! I immediately thought of Bella at that point and how weak she was without a man in her life. I liked Twilight for about two years before this. O_O

yeaah, i like it for 2 years, but my 사랑 for HP is much 더 많이 bigger and stronger than anything else, and still exist until now and forever.

i came to this spot and read the 1000 reason why Harry Potter is better than Twilight, i couldn't agree 더 많이 !! ;D

I used to 사랑 Twilight. The binding on my Twilight book is all crinkled up, actually.
When I joined Fanpop, and I joined this spot, I met people who I would say I'm good 프렌즈 with right now, and they helped me to see the light.
So, basically what I'm trying to say is, 팬팝 has shown me what it's like, and has proved to me that it really is a piece of bad writing.

My friend got me into Twilight before the movie came out and I read them all and thought it was alright. Then we would actually choose 'teams' (like a normal Twihard would do/did. 의해 the way, I was Team WolfPack minus Jacob). I then realized what I was experiencing was a fad. A 년 max was what I wasted my time on that garbage. I am so glad that I am out of that whole Twilight world too. As for Harry Potter, I have been a 팬 for 10 years, and honestly, I don't see my 사랑 of HP ending anytime soon :)

i used to like that seris as well as the Hp seris i only liked the 1st book it was actully good the 2nd was kind of good the 3rd was horrible and the 4th oh the 4th book runied the seris all togther...i liked bella when she wasent a sparkly vampire it runied my image of it for me twlight was a decent book that could pass time for me but harry potter was A VERY Good seris i read the hp seris first then twlight...i never did like romance in 책 now if ur compareing 뱀파이어 compare edward to vladimir tod

I used to be a rabid Twitard, but after I read Breaking Down and reread the others, I realized they were shit and I fed many of the pages to my dog.

I thought it was the best thing on this planet. I thought it was amazing.
Don't worry, I haven't learnt my lesson back then quite yet. I read them when I was twelve, and I was addicted. I loved the series. I don't know why. But my 프렌즈 were the ultimate Harry fans, and they were trying to get my to read the series, so I did. It dramatically changed my life. Not only did I improve in my English mark, but my teacher actually came up to me and asked what I was doing differently. I just told her I started 읽기 Harry Potter. I saw a bunch of disscussions online, and "Alex Reads Twilight" (search it on Youtube, funniest things ever) and I started recognizing what real stories were. What can I say? Im proud of my self. It lasted about six months. (I am very ashamed to say that though.)
