When Caroline walked behind the corner, where she had parked her car, she collided to someone. She sighed deeply. ā€œCanā€™t ė‹¹ģ‹  watch were youā€™re going?ā€ she said annoyed, not noticing who she had bumped into.
ā€œIā€™m sorryā€ Matt mumbled a little offended. Caroline looked up. ā€œOh, itā€™s youā€ she said in some kind of apologizing way.
ā€œAre ė‹¹ģ‹  going somewhere?ā€ Matt asked, nodding at Carolineā€™s car. Caroline frowned her eyebrows; that was so none of his business. ā€œBecause I was actually heading to the hospital to see Elenaā€ Matt explained himself. ā€œI was wondering if...

Caroline walked out of the grocery ģƒµ and closed the door. She turned around and bumped into Tyler.
ā€œSorryā€ she mumbled and wanted to walk away, but Tyler called her.
ā€œCaroline, wait upā€ he said.
Caroline held her steps, but didnā€™t turn around. Tyler walked to her.
ā€œHey, Iā€™mā€¦Iā€™m sorry for last timeā€ he started uneasy. ā€œI was a little uptightā€
Caroline raised an eyebrow. ā€œYou didnā€™t act uptight, Tyler. ė‹¹ģ‹  acted like a jerkā€
ā€œI know, but Iā€™m trying to explain myself hereā€ Tyler continued.
Caroline shuffled with her left foot over the paving. She then looked...

Damon and Elena were lying on the hospital bed. Damon was holding Elena in his arms and they were staring at the ceiling.
ā€œI really hope Stefan can talk him out of itā€ Elena said soft and sad.
ā€œYou can always, ė‹¹ģ‹  know, compel himā€ Damon said. ā€œI mean, let me ė˜ėŠ” Stefan do itā€
Elena lifted her head and looked at Damon as if she strongly considered it, but then shook her head. ā€œNoā€ she said and she lay back down. ā€œIā€™m tired, Damonā€ she whispered.
Damon gave her a soft ķ‚¤ģŠ¤ on her upper lip. ā€œThen sleep, princess, Iā€™ll be here watching over youā€ He looked up at the window....

Jeremy ran through the hallway of the hospital. Stefan had given him a call to fill him in and he had also mentioned in which room Elena was ā€˜stayingā€™. Ignoring the reproaching of several doctors and nurses and other medical staff he opened the door and stopped to breathe.
ā€œJeremy, why arenā€™t ė‹¹ģ‹  at school?ā€ Elena asked a little harsh.
ā€œI was thereā€ Jeremy said. ā€œBut then Stefan called me, saying ė‹¹ģ‹  were sickā€
Elena looked away. ā€œHe shouldnā€™t have said thatā€ she said grumpy. Jeremy walked to the ģ¹ØėŒ€ and sank down. ā€œHow are ė‹¹ģ‹  feeling?ā€
ā€œIā€™m fineā€ Elena said...

Tyler was lying on Veronicaā€™s bed, while Veronica was getting dressed.
ā€œYou could be wrong, ė‹¹ģ‹  knowā€ Tyler said.
ā€œI donā€™t think soā€ Veronica replied.
ā€œDo ė‹¹ģ‹  honestly believe every single ģˆ˜ķ¼ė‚“ģø„ėŸ“ is dangerous?ā€ Tyler asked disbelieving.
ā€œYeah, I doā€ Veronica nodded. ā€œDonā€™t get me wrong, I donā€™t think they can help it. Itā€™s just in their nature. But that doesnā€™t mean we should let them get away with itā€
ā€œWhat about witches?ā€ Tyler tried. ā€œThey keep nature in balance ė˜ėŠ” something like thatā€
Veronica turned around. ā€œYeah, witches are great, as long...

Caroline was waiting in the doorway while Bonnie put on her shoes. They were going out for a walk in the garden.
ā€œHowā€™s life in here?ā€ Caroline asked casual.
ā€œ ā€˜s Okay, I guessā€ Bonnie said. ā€œLittle boring thoughā€
Caroline scoffed. ā€œI wish I could say the sameā€ she mumbled.
ā€œWhat do ė‹¹ģ‹  mean?ā€ Bonnie asked concerned.
Caroline shook her head. ā€œCome on, letā€™s goā€
Five ė¶„ later they were walking through the garden. Caroline whistled. ā€œThis place really is beautifulā€
ā€œCarolineā€ Bonnie said a little harsh. ā€œI know ė‹¹ģ‹  didnā€™t just come over. Thereā€™s something...

Katherine threw her arm in the air and called for a taxi. As one stopped she dialed a number.
ā€œMy dear Katerina, please tell me ė‹¹ģ‹  have fixed the problemā€ Klaus said slowly.
ā€œI havenā€™tā€ Katherine started while she got in the cab.
ā€œWell, how unfortunateā€ Klaus said.
ā€œBut I know whatā€™s wrong with Elenaā€ Katherine quickly continued. ā€œTell me where ė‹¹ģ‹  are, then I can show youā€
Klaus gave her directions and Katherine passed them to the driver.
Fifteen ė¶„ later the driver parked the car in front of an abandoned hotel. Katherine got out and the cab drove away.
As soon...

Damon was lying on the autopsy table, bare naked. A man in a white ģ½”ķŠø was standing over him, holding a scalpel in his hand.
Jeremy was standing at the reception of the police office, impatiently waiting for the sheriff to show up. After a few ė¶„ a door went open and Liz came inside. ā€œJeremy, hi, can I help you?ā€
ā€œThere was an accident tonightā€ Jeremy quickly started without an introduction. ā€œWhat happened to the body?ā€
The coroner placed the scalpel ė‹¤ģŒ to Damonā€™s clavicle.
Liz arrayed her paperwork, taking her time to answer. ā€œI donā€™t see why I should share that kind...

Katherine was lying on ģƒė‹Ø, ė§Ø ģœ„ė”œ of the sheets. She was sweating all over her body and was having flashbacks from when she first met Stefan. She got out of ģ¹ØėŒ€ and raised her hand. Smiling at an imaginary Stefan she slowly spun around.
A hard knock on the door and she came back to reality. The door opened and the doctor came in, holding a piece of paper in his hand.
ā€œMiss Gilbert, why are ė‹¹ģ‹  out of bed?ā€ he asked frowning.
Katherine stared at him, which kind of creeped him out. He looked at the paper and inhaled deeply. ā€œIā€™m afraid I have bad newsā€ he started. Then he looked up again. ā€œEh,...

ā€œIā€™m lying if I say I never wanted to hurt him, because I did. That was all I could think ofā€ Bonnie started. ā€œI wanted to punish him for all the things heā€™d done. I wanted to make him suffer like he made others sufferā€
ā€œWhat did he do? And why couldnā€™t ė‹¹ģ‹  hand him over to the police?ā€ Keith asked curious.
Bonnie pulled the sheets. These were the ģ§ˆė¬ø she wasnā€™t sure how to answer. If she answered the first one, sheā€™d put Damon in a bad daylight and that wasnā€™t the way to forgiveness. If she answered the second, sheā€™d expose him.
ā€œHe did some bad thingsā€ she...

These doors need to be oiled, Keith thought as he opened the door of Bonnies room. He walked to the ģ¹ØėŒ€ and sank down.
Bonnie turned on her back in her ģ¹ØėŒ€ and opened her eyes a bit. When she saw Keith her eyes widened and she sat straight.
ā€œWhat the hell are ė‹¹ģ‹  doing here? Go away! Iā€™m going to call security! Get out!ā€ she hissed.
ā€œSsshhā€ Keith said. ā€œIā€™m just here to watch ė‹¹ģ‹  sleep. Isnā€™t that romantic?ā€
ā€œNo!ā€ Bonnie whispered loud. ā€œNot if youā€™re the one watchingā€
ā€œSo, youā€™re not going to sleep, because I am here?ā€ Keith asked. ā€œWell, in that case, we might...

Elena, Jeremy and Ric were sitting at the ė¶€ģ—Œ, ģ£¼ė°© ķ‘œ, ķ…Œģ“ėø” having dinner. Well, Jeremy was eating. Elena was stirring in her ģŒģ‹ and Alaric was looking at her.
ā€œIf ė‹¹ģ‹  wanted mashed potatoes ė‹¹ģ‹  couldā€™ve askedā€ he said. Elena looked up distracted. ā€œWhat? No, itā€™s good. Itā€™s really niceā€ she said.
ā€œHow would ė‹¹ģ‹  know?ā€ Alaric asked. ā€œYou didnā€™t eat yetā€
ā€œIt looks really niceā€ Elena said shrugging.
ā€œIf youā€™re not hungry, thatā€™s fineā€ Alaric said. ā€œYou donā€™t have to eat. But if thereā€™s something else, I want ė‹¹ģ‹  to tell meā€
Elena looked down at her plate,...

Damon was still lying on the ģ¹Øģƒ, ģ†ŒķŒŒ when a shadow came over him and he opened his eyes difficult. ā€œElena?ā€ he said weak. Katherine shook her head. ā€œItā€™s meā€ she said. She took his shoulder and helped him sit up. She took the glass of ė²„ė²ˆ, ė¶€ė„“ė“‰ ģ™•ź°€ from the table. ā€œYou should drink somethingā€
ā€œShouldnā€™t ė‹¹ģ‹  tell me to drink blood?ā€ Damon asked sarcastic.
ā€œIf ė‹¹ģ‹  donā€™t want to itā€™s your businessā€ Katherine said and she held the glass in front of Damon. He wanted to take it out her hands, but she refused to gave it to him. ā€œIā€™ll do itā€ she said. ā€œKatherine? Iā€™m not...

Rebekah and Stefan were walking hand in hand in the shopping ź±°ė¦¬ when Rebekah squeezed Stefanā€™s hand and nodded in front of her.
ā€œIsnā€™t that your friend?ā€ she asked. She nodded at Elena who was walking their way, though she didnā€™t seem to notice them. They accelerated their steps until they reached her.
ā€œHi, Elenaā€ Stefan said.
Elena startled and put out her earphones. ā€œStefan, geez, youā€™re going to get me a ģ‹¬ģž„ attack somedayā€
ā€œSorry, didnā€™t mean to scare youā€ Stefan apologized with raised hands. ā€œRebekah saw ė‹¹ģ‹  walkingā€
Elena looked at the girl who smiled at...

Five days later.
Derek was rushing through the kitchen, setting the breakfast ķ‘œ, ķ…Œģ“ėø” when slow footsteps were heard on the stairs. Derek raced to the stairs and tried to help Damon keep his balance. Damon tried to push him away, but was too weak.
ā€œI made breakfastā€ Derek said.
ā€œGee, thanksā€ Damon mumbled sarcastic. He shuffled to the ė¶€ģ—Œ, ģ£¼ė°© and fell down on a chair. He looked down at the ķ‘œ, ķ…Œģ“ėø” and picked up the blood bag. ā€œThis is breakfast?ā€ he asked Derek.
ā€œYou have to drink it, Damonā€ Derek insisted. ā€œItā€™s been five days. ė‹¹ģ‹  will die if ė‹¹ģ‹  donā€™tā€
Damon shrugged. ā€œThen...

Rebekah was sitting on the ģ¹Øģƒ, ģ†ŒķŒŒ in Stefanā€™s loft, while Stefan himself was trying to reach Katherine.
ā€œCome sit with me, Stefanā€ Rebekah demanded. Stefan lifted his hand to shut her up. Rebekah frowned, insulted. She whistled and when Stefan turned around annoyed she poured her glass of blood on the couch. Stefan turned around again and stopped his attempts to get a hold of Katherine.
ā€œWhy am I even trying?ā€ he mumbled.
ā€œSheā€™s not worth itā€ Rebekah scoffed.
Stefan turned to the ė¶€ģ—Œ, ģ£¼ė°© and searched through the cupboards. He then came back with a bucket with water, a sponge and...

ā€œWhoā€™s Ronnie, if I may ask?ā€ Klaus asked. Tyler frowned, wondering how Klaus knew about her. But the moment Klaus conjured Tylerā€™s phone everything was clear.
ā€œSheā€™s sent ė‹¹ģ‹  quite some messagesā€ he said ģ—°źø° admired. ā€œWhat happened to the blonde one?ā€
Tyler didnā€™t answer that, but he did answer Klaus first question. ā€œSheā€™s just some girl who got here a few weeks ago. Here is Mystic Fallsā€¦Weā€™re still in Mystic Falls, right?ā€
ā€œSure we areā€ Klaus smirked. ā€œSomething else I should know? Something important, maybe?ā€
ā€œShe knows a little too muchā€ Tyler...

Tyler opened his eyes and gasped for air. The night was slowly giving in to the ģ¼ and Tyler was still tied onto that chair.
ā€œGood morning, sunshineā€ Klaus said, who was sitting in front of him in Indian style. He had a small flask in his left hand. ā€œI hope youā€™re hungryā€
ā€œCanā€™t ė‹¹ģ‹  just let me go already?ā€ Tyler said, who was having trouble breathing. Blood came streaming from his eyes. What was wrong?
ā€œI canā€™t let ė‹¹ģ‹  goā€ Klaus said. ā€œNot before ė‹¹ģ‹  had breakfastā€ He continued, waving the flask. He scribbled up and opened the flask.
Tyler pressed his lips together, but Klaus easily separated them and poured the blood that was in the flask into his mouth.
ā€œNow ė‹¹ģ‹  wonā€™t be so eager to run off, now will you?ā€ Klaus said as he untied Tyler.
ā€œSo this is where people go these days to be socialā€ Rebekah said looking around in the Grill.
ā€œWell, itā€™s definitely the most ģøźø° establishment in townā€ Stefan replied.
ā€œDonā€™t ė‹¹ģ‹  mean the only establishment?ā€ Rebekah said disdainful. Stefan emptied his glass. ā€œYou want another shot?ā€ he asked.
ā€œSure, keep them comingā€ Rebekah smiled. She emptied her glass, as well as the ģ“ˆ and the third. ā€œHow long does it take for ė‹¹ģ‹  to get drunk?ā€
ā€œWhy?ā€ Stefan asked. ā€œYou have plans for me?ā€
A smirk appeared on Rebekahā€™s face. ā€œWell, if ė‹¹ģ‹  come with me, I...

Tyler stared at Ronnie over his glass. She had been telling all about herself. It was quite a lot. Her parents both lived in Charlottesville. She had a brother named Jack, but he was out of the picture. She was interested in ģˆ˜ķ¼ė‚“ģø„ėŸ“ stuff and had heard Mystic Falls was full of it. And now she stared at Tyler with an expecting look.
ā€œI want to know ė” ė§Žģ“ about this town ā€
Tyler frowned. ā€œThereā€™s really nothing to tellā€ he said avoiding.
ā€œYeah, rightā€ Ronnie said in disbelief. She searched her handbag and took out a newspaper and held it in front of Tyler.
ā€œPolice finds bodies...
