EDIT: They are always open for editing, though, and everyone is welcome to contest them, like Mac contested the swearing rule. That rule has become rather lenient as a result, but when put to a vote, the majority of the debate spot chose to keep it. These are more like guidelines or suggestions... like the Pirate Code, or traffic lanes. ;o)

EDIT EDIT: In fact, I just wanted to note, that if there is a rule you disagree with, or a rule you wish to add, make a pick, or ask me to make a pick, about adding an amendment. Harold did this last February and succeeded in adding the first amendment to the Golden Rules.
