Is there any good 아니메 for 12 년 old girls?

One day, I have a sister who has a twelve 년 old friend. I invited her over my house for a party. We had a talk about what 아니메 we watch and then she asked me what are some good 아니메 for her.

She loves Fruits Basket and just got done watching Azumanga Daioh. However, she dislikes Nausicaa of the valley of the wind and says she probably doesn’t like 아니메 about Princes and Princesses.

So is there any 아니메 that are like Fruits Basket and not about Princes and Princesses?
