Everyone was at the cave waiting for what seemed like an hour. Artemis was sitting on the 침상, 소파 criss-cross doing some homework. Robin was sitting in a chair clicking away on his computer. Conner was sitting in a chair brushing wolf. Aquald was watching T.V. and Megan was attempting to bake a cake. Artemis started getting frustrated with her homework furiously erasing half her page. Finally she spoke up. “Does anyone remember why we are here?” she announced. “Wally called us here. Said he had a surprise for us” Robin said without looking away from the computer. “And how long have we been waiting?” Artemis asked. “About an hour” Robin replied. “Does he expect us to wait an 시간 for him?”
“Well we just did”
“Well not anymore I’m leaving” Artemis gathered her stuff and was walking to the zeta beams when it announced someone coming. “B02 kidflash”. Kid flash started jogging in “Hey guys!” he said. But before he could continue Artemis started yelling at him.
“Wally 당신 called us here an 시간 이전 now do 당신 really expect us to wait that long, 당신 don’t think we have are own lives!” she yelled
“I’m sorry but didn’t 당신 just wait an 시간 for me?” he asked confused. Robin snickered. Artemis was about to yell some 더 많이 when she realized the get up Wally was dressed in. He was wearing a 판초, 판 쵸 and a giant 솜브레로 that keep falling over his eyes.
“Wally, what are 당신 wearing?” Everyone turned to him.
“I was at an awesome party for Cinco de mayo”
“What is Cinco De mayo?” Megan asked. Wally sped over to her
“Well my lovely, cinco de mayo is a 일 when we earthlings celebrate Mexico’s independence 의해 having parties”
“Uh Wally Cinco de Mayo is the 일 when the battle of puebla” Wally interrupted him.
“Dude really? We aren’t in school”
“What kind a holiday has everyone dress up in ridicules clothing” superboy said.
“Cinco de Mayo actually” Robin tried to say but again Wally interrupted him
“Come on Rob no one wants a history lesson” Wally whined.
Sigh “I’ll explain later” Robin mumbled.
“Uh Wally what is this?” Artemis asked holding a monkey piñata.
“That is a piñata that I brought so we can hit it and get candy” he said shaking it.
“I hate monkeys” Superboy said. 늑대 started growling.
“Well my kryptonian friend 당신 can actually beat the crud out of this monkey”
“Wally aren’t we a little old for piñata’s” Robin said
“No way are 당신 to old for candy” Wally exclaimed. He ran out of the room then came back and in a 초 had it hanged across the ceiling. Everyone one looked uncertain.
“Oh come on. Miss. M wouldn’t 당신 like to participate in human activities” Wally said
“Well I guess”
“Good”. Wally brought her under the piñata.
“Know the goal here is to hit the piñata”
“Sounds easy”
“Blindfolded” Wally finished. He blindfolded Miss.M. He was behind her “helping” her hit the piñata, with him behind her and his hands over hers. After a while she didn’t hit it.
“Wally” Artemis said.
“Don’t worry you’ll get your turn” he said. She pulled him away from Miss. M
“Just hit the piñata”. Miss. M hit the piñata a few times. She pulled the blindfold off
“Did I hit it?” she asked.
“Yes 당신 did” Wally said. Artemis nudged him. “Robin would 당신 like to try”
“Yeah if 당신 aren’t too old for it” Wally said. Robin came and grabbed the stick.
“Let me show 당신 how the professionals do it” Robin said.
“Hey dude blindfold” Wally said.
“I’ll just close my eyes” Robin replied. Everyone looked at him questioningly.
“What 당신 don’t trust me” Robin said noticing the look on their faces.
“Fine, just don’t look” Robin said as he turned and took off his glasses and replaced them with the blindfold. He walked to the piñata while twirling the stick in one hand. He gently tapped the piñata then hit it. He used the moves he would use out on the field. Then he jumped up bringing the stick down as a last move. He did a flip in the air. “Candy anyone?” robin said pointing to an empty pile of nothing.
“Dude 당신 didn’t break it” Wally informed him
“What?” Robin said turning around putting on his glasses.
“That’s impossible those hits make grown men unconscious.” He said.
“Well maybe 당신 aren’t as strong as 당신 thought” Wally said.
“All right then 당신 break it with your speed” Robin said pushing the stick towards him
“All right and this time 캔디 will rain” Wally started running circles around the piñata.
“Running around in circles around it isn’t going to help” Robin called out. Then Wally started spinning causing a mini tornado underneath the piñata. His hat and 판초, 판 쵸 flew out of the tornado. The stick was sticking out of the tornado hitting the piñata with great force. After a while the wind started to go down. Wally was still spinning.
“In your masked face” Wally said dizzily. He had the stick steady himself.
“That’s how to make it rain candy”
“Wally nothing happened” Artemis said. Wally turned to see the piñata still intact. He fell on his knees crying out “it will rain candy” Wally said making feebly attempts to hit it on his knees. Robin came and helped Wally up into a chair
“Sure it will buddy” Robin said.
“I have an idea of how to break it” Aqualad said. “But it will not require the stick”
“Do whatever” Wally said bringing his hands to his mouth and stomach.
“Dude stop spinning me”. Wally said weekly.
“I’m not” Robin said.
Aqualad nodded. With his water tubes he made a sphere of water surrounding the piñata.
“I’m not sure” Robin started. But then Aqualad made electricity run down his arms to the piñata making a black 구름, 클라우드 of smoke cover it.
“That won’t be good for the candy”. Wally whined. Soon it cleared away to reveal the piñata just a little charred on the edges.
“How?” Aqualad said softly.
“It’s time to show 당신 how it’s done” Artemis said taking out her bow and arrows. She raised up her 애로우 pointing to the piñata. She released it. The 애로우 soared and hit the monkey piñata. But it reflected it. The 애로우 fell down below. Artemis was shocked. She started sending arrows 의해 two at the piñata, but they bounced off the piñata. After a few 더 많이 arrows bounced off the pinata, she got mad and was reaching for her explosive arrows.
“Whoa I think that’s enough Artemis” Robin said pulling her away from the monkey.
“my turn” said superboy cracking his knuckles. He had a small smile on his face. He was going to enjoys this.
“If anyone can break the piñata superboy can” Robin said. Superboy looked at the green monkey, it had an annoying smile, eyes way too big for its head and that dumb springy tail.
Superboy brought his fist back and punched the monkey. It swayed back and forth without a dent. Superboy hit it again. “aagghh” he yelled. But it just swayed back and forth. After punching it multiple times Superboy got mad.
“That’s it!” He yelled. He started tugging on its leg. He pulled with all his weight. He pulled so hard that his hand slipped and he fell back. Everyone stared at him. Not even superboy, the clone of 슈퍼맨 could destroy the green monkey. Everyone stared at the piñata at horror.
“This means war” everyone said simultaneously. And the battle began
“Batman b02” 배트맨 walked in to see smoke. Everyone was attacking something within the smoke. Robin did a shoulder roll and threw his explosives at the smoke cloud. Artemis was behind the 침상, 소파 shooting arrows. Aqualad was sending electric bolts. Wally was making mini tornado’s sending objects flying. And miss Martian had her eyes glowing making a sphere around what ever they were attacking trapping all the explosives inside of it making it explode. The explosion was to big to contain that it broke the containment bubble. That cause everybody to be thrown against the wall. They are being attacked 배트맨 thought. Quickly he ran through the smoke and brought down whoever it was. He was on 상단, 맨 위로 of him and was about to 펀치 him when the smoke cleared revealing…a green monkey? A piñata? Everyone was getting back on their feet, very weakly. 배트맨 held the piñata in his hands. “What happened” he said. Everyone started talking at the same time. He raised his hand to stop them. He turned to Robin who was limping.
“Robin”.
“We were trying to break it but it wouldn’t. We threw everything we had at it but nothing” he said.
“It’s evil” Wally whispered out loud.
“Let me get this straight. All of 당신 young hero’s, Hero’s who fight villains and go on dangerous missions couldn’t break a festive toy” he said. Everyone hanged their heads down.
“I’m afraid we couldn’t” Aqualad said.
“I expect all of 당신 to clean up and that 당신 all to be here at six am sharp to train with black canary for extensive training all day”. Everyone quietly started cleaning up. 배트맨 started leaving. “I am disappointed in all of you, it’s just a piñata”. And with those last words he left taking the piñata with him. No one talked for a while. Robin got mad and dropped his 비, 빗자루 “bats is right. How could we not break that dumb piñata? I am so not feeling the aster.” He said crossing his arms.
“I am disappointed in us too” Aqualad said. “How can we call ourselves heroes?”
“We don’t we call ourselves 히어로즈 we call ourselves sidekicks” Robin said
“Hey we all tried our best” Megan said
“Well it wasn’t enough!” Robin snapped
“Me a clone of 슈퍼맨 yeah right” superboy said
“maybe I am just a replacement” Artemis said.
“hey we are not sidekicks. We are hero’s in training. So maybe we couldn’t break the monkey but that’s what trainings for. To get better, and besides that monkey was evil” Wally announced to everyone. Everyone smiled and continued cleaning. Wally picked up Robin broom.
“here”
“thanks”
“where do 당신 think bats took the piñata”
“I don’t care as long as I never see it again” Robin joked
“me too”

Watchtower:
“batman B03”
“hey 배트맨 how were the kids doing” Flash asked as he came in. “I found them trying to break this piñata” he said dissapontedly.
“tried?”
“that’s right they never seceded”
Flash took the piñata and shook it
“hey candy. How about we all break it” Flash suggested.
“aren’t we all adults?” 배트맨 asked
“your never to old for candy” Flash said.
“fine be my guest” 배트맨 said.
“hey everyone please come to the meeting room for a surprise” Flash said into the microphone.
Explosions filled the air. Dark clouds filled the entire watch tower. All of the green lanterns made huge fists from their rings to hit the thing in the dark cloud. Wonderwoman threw her golden lasso into the cloud. Green 애로우 and speedy send explosive arrows to the dark cloud. 슈퍼맨 flew around sending lasers out of his eyes to the dark cloud. Everyone attacked with everything they have but there is no effect on the piñata. 슈퍼맨 looked over the entire scene. He folded his arms.
“I hate monkeys”
