The two boys were walking down the 거리 to a place Robin said had the best 피자 ever. Wally was looking at the sights, he had been to Gothem a few times, but only when the flash and he came to help the dynamic duo, so he never had a good look at this place. They past 의해 a big school, Gothem academy. Robin tried to pass 의해 as quickly as possible 의해 Wally was hanging back.
“Wally come one we have to beat the lunch rush” Robin tried.
“Hey Rob what is that place” Wally asked in awe. Even though it was the weekend lots of the students were at school for clubs.
“A school” Robin said simply as if it wasn’t a big deal.
“A school?!” Wally said surprisingly. “Wow that is some school”
“It’s just a high school”
“Yeah but it’s so big, must be full of rich kids right?”
“Yeah” Robin answered. Wally started walking across the street.
“Hey where 당신 are going” Robin asked.
“To the school”
“Why” Robin asked getting scared. Wally had confusion on his face.
“To look around. Maybe i can convince some girls to have lunch with us”
“Nah I’m good let’s just get pizza”
“Rob come on you’ve been busy all week with bats so 당신 got to make the most of this time before 당신 guys go get back to joker”
Robin couldn’t have Wally in his school, he might find out his identity. Robin had to do something quick.
“Oh right Joker” Robin turned and pounded his head on the wall. “I. Am. Such.An.Idiot.” He pounded his head with each word. He hoped that Wally would comfort him and forget about the school.
“Don’t worry buddy, I’ll get some girls to get your mind off of joker” Wally walked across the 거리 to the school. Robin hit his head a few 더 많이 time before he notice that Wally was at the gate.
“Aw man” he murmured. He hit his head on the wall.
“Ow!” he yelled. He touched his tender forehead and winced. He ran across the 거리 following Wally.
Robin was hiding at every corner when he saw a group of familiar faces walk by. He couldn’t have anyone recognize him. He looked around and carefully walked in stealth mode. He had to find Wally and get out. He was walking 의해 a window and saw that Wally was inside the school. Wally was looking at the displays of awards. Robin stopped frozen. His picture was there, the one with him winning the mathletes. Robin ran inside the school all the way to Wally. Robin dropped his hands to his knees and gasped.
“Wally….what are 당신 doing?”
“Just looking around” Wally said not taking his eyes off the awards. Robin stood up.
“Well I 로스트 당신 for a minute. Come on and let’s get a slice I bet your hungry” Robin said as calmly as he could. His 심장 was beating out of his chest when Wally looked directly at his picture. Wally squinted his eyes.
He knows, he knows! Robin yelled in his mind.
“Hey that’s Dick Grayson. He goes to this school?” Wally asked. Robin just shrugged.
“Have 당신 met him, 또는 have 당신 seen him” Wally asked
“Does seeing him on T.V count?”
“Well he is the son of a billionaire so he must not get out much. I bet he’s a snobby kid though” Wally said. Robin started calming down.
“Yeah you’re probably right” Robin said with a smile. He started leading his friend out when he heard two girls laughing. Robin turned and saw Barbra with a friend. Robin froze.
“Hey those two are kind of hot aren’t they” Wally said nudging Robin. Robin blushed insanely. That was Barbra, Wally was talking about.
“Dibs on the red head” Wally whispered and was about to walk towards them. Robin grabbed Wally’s wrist.
“What about Artemis” Robin said in a teasing tone.
“Dude no way in heck will she and I ever be together” Wally said in anger. He tried to continue walking but Robin didn’t let go. Robin had to distract him a little while longer.
“Really then why do I see 당신 always look at her when 당신 think no ones looking” Robin said. Wally blushed a little.
“I do not” Wally yelled. Robin saw over Wally’s shoulder that Barbara and the other girl left.
“Okay then if 당신 run to the 피자 parlor and eat 15 slices before me I’ll believe you” Robin started running. Wally ran beside him.
“Dude 당신 know I’m the fastest kid alive right?”
“No costumes dude plus I know where the 피자 place is” Robin said running a bit faster.
