I jumped out of the way of the first serpent's fangs, nearly tripping over a 불, 화재 hydrant in the process. I couldn't think of a time in my life that I was 더 많이 terrified; my feet were rooted to the ground, unable to move.
The other snake however, had its eyes on Robin and Mr. Freeze. They both dodged its feverish attempts to kill them, but Nora was left unguarded.
This would've been a waste if Nora was kidnapped again, my subconscious told me.
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever." Consciously, I took hold of a piece of skin from the snake that tried attacking me, and leaped over it. Ignoring the sliminess of its texture, I sprinted over to the gurney on which Nora laid. I had no idea what to do, so I looked at Robin.
"Get her inside!" he yelled, magnificently whacking one of the serpents with his Bat-rope. Freeze on the other hand, tried freezing them, but because of their size, was nearly impossible.
I pushed Nora toward the hospital, my legs burning with the speed of my passage. My hair blew wildly behind me, making it hard to see.
"I'll get 당신 there, Nora," I gritted through my teeth.
Out of nowhere, the 초 serpent appeared in front of me, it's red eyes gleaming maliciously. I gasped, my hands sweating even though I was very cold.
The snake lunged at us, and in two seconds' time his fang was speared right through my right arm.
"ERICA!" Robin yelled, trying to get to me but the other serpent blocked his way.
I squinted my eyes; my vision was getting worse as the venom spread through my body. His tooth was still in my arm, so he was stuck to me like glue.
"Go to--" I broke off as I pulled as hard as I could away from him, his tooth ripping off from his gums, blood spraying all over me.
"NO!" screamed the scientist inside him, cringing back at the pain I'd inflicted on him.
I pulled the fang out of my arm and stabbed him with it, forcing him to return to his normal form. Behind me, his brother returned too--it seemed like they were both connected in a way.
Mr. Freeze froze them with his ice gun. "This should keep them sustained for a while."
Robin ran to my side, clutching my bloody arm. "Are you--?"
"I'm fine," I lied. "We have to get Nora inside."
He looked worried, but nodded anyway. Together, we pushed the gurney into the hospital where the awaiting doctors stood there expectantly, wondering what took us so long. They pulled Nora into an emergency room, where Mr. Freeze followed them.
Robin looked at me worriedly. "I'm taking 당신 to see a doctor."
I couldn't argue with him; my vision was so blurry that he looked like a big blob of red and green to me.
It seemed like he got me into a room already, where another face popped into view.
"Don't worry, Nightfury, with this antidote you'll be okay in no time."
I felt a sharp needle being inserted into my injured arm, and everything started to go black.

The last thing I heard were Robin's cries that I was going to be okay.
