I walked out, and then ran out the door, down the hall, through the mission room, to right outside the lounge. I waited for Artemis and Megan to catch up. I made sure my hair was still nice, straightened my skirt, fixed Artemis’ belt, adjusted Megan’s gloves, then we all walked in together. That’s when I felt like a fool. I noticed everyone had a date, except for Wally and Super Boy, who were obviously with Artemis and Megan. Everyone had a date. Everyone except for me. I skirted the edge of the party, determinded to stay unseen. I got successfully to the 부엌, 주방 part of the lounge, which was now transformed into a snack table. I sat down in a chair and scanned the crowd. He smiled and gave me a beautiful rose. Then I took his hand and we got up and danced away.
