Chapter Two.
"A Feather is Plucked"
A few years in the future, a lead was picked up 의해 the FBI. It was a 상단, 맨 위로 secret file, until someone tapped into their database. New suspects arose, and the case was permanently stripped off of every tape, news report, cell phone camera. They even went to lengths so grand as to brainwash it from the officers on the case. The files, however, were taken from the database 의해 a tick planted deep in the system. Investigation was canceled, due to the disappearance of young man -and survivor of an unknown mass murderer- Ciel Norrian.
"We've 로스트 all communication."
"Impossible."
"No, it's not, apparently." Elizabeth looked at Jaime.
"He wouldn't just leave like that."
"Yes. He would."
Ciel climbed down into the submarine, the smell of alcohol and pot filled the air. He was outfitted in a white tank-top, and green cargo pants. He shivered, then sat in the corner. He stuck out, considering the rest had high and tight haircuts. His hair was shaggy, and his eyes practically glowed. He watched the men cuss, take swigs of whiskey, and even start a mosh pit as Immortal Technique played.
"Just sleep it out, bud." Ciel jumped slightly at the new voice. He looked over at another teen, about the same age, sitting on a bench beside him. He smelled as if he hadn't washed in a few days, and had a black eye.
"Yeah..." He touched his black eye. "You'll see a lot of these here. Just sleep out this trip, and you'll survive." Ciel nodded, the young boy had brown shaggy hair, and brown orbs for eyes. He took this advice, and blocked out the noise. Soon, he was sleeping.
"Sissy, help me drive the choo choos!" The young white haired boy tugged on his sister's sleeve.
"One sec, Ciel."
"Okay Lizzie." Ciel sat infront of his train track, staring at the trains.
"He's only four John!" Ciel's mother yelled from upstairs.
"I don't care, Mary! He needs to learn!" Ciel winced at his parents's fighting.
"Hey, Ciel." Ciel looked up at his older brother, who then picked him up. He let out a roar of laughter as his brother threw him up into the air. He had black hair, and yellow eyes. The complete opposite from his younger brother.
"You like that, huh?" He caught the young boy.
"Yeah! Do it again Damon!"
"Here, 당신 can be an airplane, okay?" Damon sat the young boy on his shoulders.
"Okay!" The young boy spread his arms and started making 랜덤 noises. Damon smiled, and started running up the stairs, holding onto his brother's legs.
"We'll make it a blood bath in there. Make sure no one survives."
"Yes sir."
"Move!"
Damon laid the young boy on the bed. Ciel rubbed his eyes.
"Do I have to go to sleep now, bubby?"
"Yeah." Damon kissed Ciel's head, and pulled blankets over the small body.
"Goodnight, bubby." Ciel giggled. Damon saluted, shutting off the lights. He slowly closed the door.
The door flew inside, making the older kids snap up from the couch. 총 started going off, with the younger kids sleeping in the upper rooms.
"Liz, get Ciel!" Damon pulled the 45. from the 침상, 소파 cushion. "Do whatever 당신 can to protect him, just don't let him get hurt!" Damon started firing rounds at the intruders as they poured in the doors and windows. He jumped off the couch, falling to the floor, and rolling into the closet. Elizabeth, scanned the room, and ran up the stairs. She kicked Ciel's door in, the young boy already sliding a magazine into his 45. She picked up the young boy, and kicked his 침대 from it's spot. She opened a hatch, and dropped him into a room.
"I 사랑 당신 Ciel. Do whatever 당신 can to survive, I'll find you! I promise!" With the Elizabeth slammed the hatch shut, leaving the young boy in the dark.
Elizabeth loaded her sniper, beginning to take out assailants from above. They had been trained for this 일 의해 the FBI. Their father was pretty big in the drug dealer industry, and their mother was deep in the system. Elizabeth was taking out drug dealers rapidly, while Damon hid in the closet. Suddenly, her father emerged from the crowd, looking around with raged eyes. He spotted Elizabeth, and suddenly, all 불, 화재 was turned to her. She gasped, just barely dodging a bullet. She grabbed her sniper, ammunition, and took off. Damon burst out of the closet, rapidly firing bullets into the crowd.
Ciel sat in the dark. He was confused, scared, he heard orders being barked.
"Okay, sissy..." He whispered. He flicked out a lighter, lighting up the room. Various weapons, backpacks, and ammunition filled the room. Ciel grabbed a backpack, he struggled, but he pulled it on. He marched out of the room like he was taught 의해 Damon and Elizabeth. He started running, backpack weighing him down.
Elizabeth blocked punches from her father. She wasn't sure if the small boy escaped, she wasn't sure she would survive, and her eldest brother was dead.
"You were always the failure of the children!" Her father pulled out a bottle of acid, spraying it over her eyes. She cried out in pain. She threw her father over the ledge, relying on her power to get her out of the house, crawling with drug dealers, and mass murderers.
Ciel's eyes snapped open as he gasped. The boy that advised him looked at him.
"Nightmare?" Ciel nodded. "Hmm." The boy ruffled Ciel's hair.
"Why are 당신 so nice to me?" Ciel smoothed out his hair.
"I've been in your position, kid."
"Oh."
"Yeah." A loud thump echoed the small submarine. "We're here."
