The magic seeped inside, whispering in her heart, speaking out. Surrender. She chanted her spell again, fighting the urge to regain control of her magic. She had to do this. This was the reason she had been chosen. She was a fighter, but the best warrior had the humility to rescue anyone in danger despite the chance of risking their own lives. She had been trained, she'd known her life led up to this moment. She was strong on her own but there were weaknesses that had never been overlooked. Now it was time to let them all go; even if she took her life with them.
She felt the wind rush along her cheeks, the 불, 화재 burning deep inside. Electricity pulsed in her veins, shadows playing around her wrists and neck. It wasn't too hard to surrender to the elements. They called out, telling her to give them 더 많이 life. What was hard was making sure the powers were balanced, that she wasn't overtaken 의해 one single element. She herself was not very strong, but her spirit was. Although she lived in humility, she wanted to own her powers now. She didn't want them to forget. But she knew Becca's life would be taken if she didn't help. It was all she could do to keep from begging her friend to let her destiny disappear in the background.
“What do mean they'll forget?”
Tara glanced at Erin. The speedstress was watching the two villains.
“Becca is making sure she's forgotten. That only few know who she is.”
“Why? She doesn't like her friends?”
“No. Becca knows something is coming that may keep her away for a few years. Maybe her entire life, which I highly doubt. But she wants no sympathy. Only few shall remember. It's her destiny.”
“I thought the chosen warrior thing was a hoax.”
“No. It's very real and is happening now. The others who knew her will think she's a girl they saw on the street, 또는 in school, 또는 anywhere else. Nothing but a memory.”
“What's so bad that she's risking her friends?”
Tara paused before she answered.
“Elimination of her kind.”
“You mean like witch hunts?”
“Similar. But much worse.”
“How do 당신 know all this?!”
“I am her friend.”
“That's not the real reason.”
“No. But a good one.”
“Okay smarty. Then why is Devin there? What is she doing to help?”
“She's saving Becca's life.”

Holly's mask is supposed to be domino themed, but I don't want a Robin domino mask 또는 one the sidekicks wear. I want something unique, individual, and awesome. Here's the contest:
GOAL: Draw/make/Whatev a domino mask for Holly, 제출하기 it 의해 November 31st in the 이미지 on the club with a link messages to me.
DETAILS: I want the mask to hide her identity (duh) I don't want it to be like Robin's and Speedy's, etc. I want it to be green and decorative.
PRIZE: To the best mask, I'll give the winner "What Matters?" a week before it's release (Dec. 29th) in one big package. The only agreement 당신 have to make is no spoilers.

“Yes. All positions secure.”
“Excellent.”
“Are 당신 sure Grant won’t mind us doing this?” Draxx asked. “I mean this is his company.”
“What Grant doesn’t know, won’t hurt him.”
“That’s usually not true.”
Red Revenge laughed.
It took almost two hours for the assassin to appear. She slipped stealthily among the shadows.
“Target spotted.” Revenge said, picking up his gun and aiming it squarely at the feminine figure.
“On your signal.” Draxx radioed over.
Revenge aimed the sights, lined up the crosshairs, and pulled the trigger. The assassin began to scale the building.
“Now.” Revenge said, leaping from the roof of his company at the same minute.
