He laid there on the 침대 staring up at the ceiling, somehow thinking that staring at the white paint and patterns would give him the train of thought he was looking for. He blinked when he watched Aryess walk in out of the bathroom wearing a 담홍색, 핑크 스파게티 strap night 겉옷, 가운 that ran just above her knees and let in a deep breath staring back up at the ceiling with his steeling grey eyes. The golden glow that the lights gave off suddenly flicked off into a blue moonlight glow from the open curtained windows. Aryess slipped into the 침대 다음 to Bentley and turned to her side resting her head with her arm bent, she stared at the expression on his face as if he were 로스트 and confused.
" B, what's up with you?" He turned over on his side looking over at her " 당신 act as if 당신 arent happy that I'm pregnant with our daughter," she muttered as grey met grey.
"I never said I wasn't happy," he said, blinking.
"Am i just a piece of material to 당신 that 당신 just banged up?" she muttered quiet and shaken. Suprise hit his grey eyes "Aryess of course not, 당신 mean the world to me; why would 당신 think that?" Bentley asked.
"Bentley.. at the hospital, that expression on you're face when I told 당신 that I was pregnant didn't seem to happy, and the way 당신 reacted I...." her eyes left his gaze as they teared up a bit, " I thought 당신 would be 더 많이 excited...." She muttered out.
He moved closer to her wrapping his arm around her and placed a hand on her stomach where a bump was yet to form and was overlapped 의해 her soft hand. He leaned his forehead against hers, "I'm sorry I didn't give 당신 the reaction 당신 we're looking for babe...." he muttered out. Aryess stared into his gaze with teary eyes as he continued to speak, "I-I was just confused and startled...."
She swallowed hard and used her other hand to brush down his cheek "Startled for what B? I thought we knew that this was going to happen.... I remember we talked about this almost five years ago. What's startling 당신 about this?" She said, trying to sooth him as he let out a shaken breath before speaking, "W-We used protection... I thought that everything was fine... I thought that 당신 would be fine... I thought- " his eyes welled up with tears.
"But I'm am fine, B," she reassured. "We're going to be okay."
"Aryess, 당신 could have gotten hurt. 당신 dehydrated and fainted. What if 당신 had been alone?"
Aryess sighed leaning into him "But I wasn't alone. I was with Declan. He caught me. I didn't get hurt." " What 당신 were doing could have gotten 당신 hurt."
She looked at him with surprise and he sighed " Declan told me." She cursed to herself quietly and sighed, "But I thought we already talked about this. I'm not fragile. I can handle myself; I'm not vulnerable."
" 당신 are when you're pregnant." Aryess looked at him with shock and let out a sigh of annoyance and frustration and rolled over facing away from him closing her eyes in an attempt to ignore him and pretend she was sleeping. Bentley let out a sigh and wrapped his arms around her, " Aryess," he muttered, she ignored him laying still. Bentley blinked and leaned his head in the crook of her neck in an attempt to make her talk to him, but she still ignored him and he pulled back sitting up with teary eyes and sighed falling back in 침대 다음 to her. He made a mistake again didn't he? He underestimated her and probably just made her feel worse about the pregnancy.
"Aryess." He said again with hope she would answer him once more. With no response he sighed and rolled over on his side, facing away from her, staring out the window where the blue moonlight glow shimmered into his sparkling grey eyes.
