I walked down the empty streets, shuffling the decks of cards in my hands. My long over 코트 flapped behind me, along with my long brown hair. My brown eyes followed the path my cards took. I turned down a wide alley. Four guys block my path. Another four blocked my retreat.
“You guys wanna play a little card game?” I asked, holding up my deck of cards.
“Sure” the lead guy nodded
“Let’s play 8” I said, throwing 8 cards to the ground. They started to glow, then they exploded. I walked away, passing my cards back and forth between my hands. My brown hair writhed around me. As I walked down another alley and a man dressed in a black cape and 고깔 달린 겉옷, 물통 swooshed down in front of me.
“Bonjour, Batman” I nodded
“Gambette. I have a proposition for you” he said
“And how can I be of service to you?” I asked
“You get a shelter, 음식 protection and be able to travel the world for free-“
“Wait for it” I muttered

“Passé” I shook my head
“Ryella, think about it. All 당신 have to do is work on a team, and 당신 get everything you’ve ever wanted” 배트맨 argued
“There is one thing 당신 could do to get me to join” I said a smirk playing on my lips.
“I am not letting 당신 run around Arkham screaming ‘You’re all crazy losers and got pwnd 의해 a powerless dude in a bat costume’” 배트맨 said sternly
"Why not?" I pouted
"Do 당신 want to get shot?"
"Well, no. But there is one other thing. When 당신 introduce me to the team, 당신 have to do it like the announcers on TV" I grinned
"No" he said almost instantly
"Then I'm not joining" I stuck my nose into the air.
"Fine" he growled
"Deal?" I asked, putting out my hand
"Deal" he muttered, shaking my hand
"And if 당신 don't do it, I walk" I warned
"Fine" he said, walking to a nearby abandoned telephone booth.
"Um...?" I started as he walked in and closed the door.
"Follow me" he ordered before there was a flash of light. I walked in and closed the door, and there was another flash of light and suddenly, I was in a large cave. Six teens around my age were training.
"Sorry to interrupt, Canary, but there is something important the team needs to see first" 배트맨 said
"No problem, Bat's" she shrugged. 배트맨 sighed heavily.
"Introducing, the one, the only, Gambette" he said in an announcer's voice. I walked forward.
"Bonjour, mon ami" I said, sticking my cards into a little pocket on the inside if my long over coat.
