Cash is even worse than Dixie and is just so despicable! Scamp, while he has his flaws, is still a great character! He has his reasons for his actions, but the story doesn't justify his mistakes and he admits he's messed up. He develops in a realistic way, even if it's not the best. I've always felt a strong connection with him and so did one of the makers of this film who had a sibling that was a runaway like Scamp. I was a lot like him when I was younger and both him and his movie got me through some hard times.

I don't even remember Cash. Everything in that whole movie was either just plain awful or easily forgettable. I don't like Scamp, either, but at least I can somewhat relate to him and is actually memorable. Plus, he's got a nice singing voice and sings "Always There", which is one of the most beautiful songs in a direct-to-video Disney sequel.

I like Cash but he can't beat Scamp.

I admit I haven't seen the other movie but I really like Scamp!
