The 다음 day, I woke up at 5:30 in the morning to go to the dock. I don't know why I keep going to that dock every day. I was WAY too freaked out to even speak. I mean, I KISSED Duncan. How could I 키스 him?! I 사랑 him like the older brother I never had. I mean, if I liked him 더 많이 than that I would, but he's very close to me and I like him as a brother, not a boyfriend.

I kneeled down on the dock, my long curly brown hair falling over my face. I was wearing a sleeveless hotpink minidress and silver leggings with black high-heeled boots. I reached my hand out over the water, my stone glowing on my wrist. I flexed my hand, the water in my bluer-than-blue eyes sparkling, and a small funnel reached up toward my hand. I smiled, and flexed my fingers, the water spiraling like an upside-down waterspout.

The sun started rising, and I heard a 선실, 캐빈 door close. I looked back and saw Duncan walking out onto the front steps of his cabin, in his full clothes. I watched him suspiciously.

He yawned and then looked up at the sky. He held his arm up above his head like he was reaching to the sun, said something, then I gasped. A spiral of what looked like the air from a tornado circled his body, then he disappeared.

My hand was still down over the water, and suddenly, a golden spiral of magic bursted from the stone on my hand and circled my body, and I disappeared.

I had no idea where I was. I was somewhere on the beaches around the island. Except everything was different. The sands were sparkling, as if they were enchanted, and the forests and campsites of the island were gone. They were all replaced with lush green 잔디 and craters and rock formations. "When did this place turn into Puerto Rico?" I asked myself, remembering the last part of Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, when Justin and Alex battle.

There was lava rock in huge clumps scattered across the mile-long meadow of green. There was a large, beatuiful sparkling 분수 in the middle of the pasture, and it was so eye-catching that it felt...alive and enchanted.

Ok...weird. I liked how this place looked, and once I folded my arms in front of me, I gasped. I was wearing a blue and light-green jumpsuit with green thick high-heeled boots. My long curly brown hair was tied in a side ponytail that fell over my shoulder. The gem on my loose bracelet on my right wrist was replaced with the same gem, but on a leather band that grasped onto my wrist.

"What am I doing here?" I called out. Suddenly, shadows formed about 50 feet away from me, and another figure formed. "Hello?" I asked, trembling.

The figure stepped out of the shadows, and it was dressed in nothing but black. I could tell it wasn't a girl because of the way the figure was built. It zipped over behind me but I didn't see it, because I blinked. I felt hot breath on the back of my neck, and I shook in fear. "Who are you?" I trembled.

The male figure zipped in front of me and pulled me towards him. He was wearing a black adn red jumpsuit like mine, and he had a black mask over his face, showing only his eyes. He had slicked black hair, almost like a mullet. Once he fully pressed my against him, he nudged his head into the 우주 between my jaw and my shoulders. It was the sexiest thing I've ever felt, and I couldn't help but moan in satisfaction. I felt his hands work their way down from my back, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I don't know who in the Sam-heck I was pressed against, but I dug my nails into his back with pleasure. I raised my free arm above our heads, and I spun my hand like I was holding a wand. Everything melted away, and I saw a light-

Flash!

-turning blue and realized I was staring at the blue skies of Camp Wawanakwa. I looked around, and saw that I was safely back where I was-

Flash!

-but then I screamed as I fell. Hundreds and hundreds of feet, I plummeted head first, like a shooting 별, 스타 burning out. I screamed louder as I saw-

Flash!

-the fields of white sparkling sands I was headed for. I closed my eyes, and said my prayers, because I was sure I'd die of the impact. I opened one eye-

Flash!

-and saw that I was at least 50 feet away from the sand, and screamed.

...

The impact was softer than I thought. Then I realized that was because I landed in the water, deep. I shook my head and walked out of the water drowsily-

Flash!

-and stopped at that flash. It was inhuman, not like lightning. I looked 앞으로 and saw Rikki standing in front of Duncan in a red tank 상단, 맨 위로 and shorts, and she had her hands on her hips. I remembered yesterday night in the girls cabin-

"I'll work on my water-freezing." Emma shrugged.

"I should practice my bending," I said, "it's counteracting my magic."

Wrong. Someone else's magic was counteracting my fluent magic, but I wouldn't tell them that.

"Hey," Rik perked, "Why don't I teach Duncan about my powers?"

We all looked at her as if she knew something we didn't.

"What?" she asked.

Rikki screamed and stormed away from Duncan, 다음 thing I knew, she had heated the 잔디 below him enough for it to turn brown and start to burn.-

Flash!

Suddenly, a ring of 불, 화재 sprouted from the ground and circled Duncan, a mere five feet away from him on all sides. I screamed and ran as fast as I could towards them.-

Emma was in the forest near the sand, and she saw me runnning like a cheetah. She knows that I only run like that-

Flash!

-when there's danger, and she urgently followed.

Rikki and Duncan were at least a mile away from me, and I don't think I made it in time. The ring, controlled 의해 Rikki-

-was moving in closer. Suddenly, a heavy force pulled me down and I fell. The soft white sand under me turned to quicksand, and I was sinking-

Flash!

-fast. I stood up and realized the flashes were coming from Rikki's silver locket around her neck. 의해 now I had sank down ot my shins. I was sweating and panting urgently-

Flash!

-and looked around nervously. I looked back at Rikki and the ring of 불, 화재 was literally on Duncan. I heard him scream out in pain-

-and I quickly gripped my gem. I wondered if spells could work for me, and I realized I had no time for thinking. Duncan was dying fast, the quicksand was up to my shoulders, and I needed to act quickly-

Flash!

-so I closed my eyes. My head started sinking, adn I struggled to stay at the surface. I didn't know what to do, but blurted out the first spell I could think of.

A death is nearing,
Reaching at all ends
Please get me out of here,
I cannot pretend!

I choked because the quicksand was squeezing my airway shut. I couldn't breathe, then-

Flash!

I was out.
I opened my eyes and saw Duncan through the fire, lying unconscious on the ground, the flames reaching up towards the sky. Rikki laughed wickedly, and I shouted "STOP IT!!!"

Water spiraled from the lake and I was standing in front of the lake, the water wrapping around my body, and once it dried, I was wearing the same blue and green jumpsuit I wore in my "dream".

I walked over to Rikki and pushed her down hard. She gasped as I walked right through the flames and kneeled 의해 Duncan. I raised my hand above my head and created a forcefield.

Once Emma arrived, she knew they didn't have literally any time to act, so Em waved her arms 의해 her side, motioning the water from the lake towards her. She created a large sphere in her hands, and blew on it, water raining down on the flames. The 불, 화재 dissipated and Emma stopped. I dropped my forcefield, and started to cry.

Duncan was in critical condition. His skin on his chest and arms had been burned down to the muscle, and his muscle was charred. His face was covered in black ashes, and they looked like a mask, and HOLY CRAP!

The nocturnal state.
The stranger.
The black jumpsuit.

Now I know why Duncan was suddenly attracted to me yesterday.
