Cameron and Mike Friendship: hunger games one shot

Last night, I was on YouTube , and u saw rue's death from the hunger game movie( only read the books, haven't seen movie) and I was so touched, I cried half the night and thought of this.

Mike cautiously paced around the forest. Holding his bow tightly in his hands and his arrows safely hooked to his back. The tanned boy was looking around for his ally Cameron.

   Cameron was a small boy with dark brown skin and black hair. He wore glasses and was skinny and short. Mike knew that Cameron would be one of the first to die since his name was picked in the games..but Cameron was very smart, and showed his skills once in the arena.

Mike and Cameron became allies  about a week ago. Helping eachother with hunting, shelter, and killing. They took out the blonde girl from district 5 의해 Cameron running and Mike shooting her I'm the back of the head.

Currently, Mike just destroyed the careers 음식 supply.. Though he was deaf in his right here from booby traps, he was looking for Cameron so they could meet and go back to shelter.

"Cameron!" Mike Silently called. "Cameron! Where are you?" 

Mike heard rustling behind him and was about to take out an arrow.

"AAAaAAAAAHHHHHH!!"

A scream rung out in the forest. Put an 애로우 in his bow and had it in a ready position. He knew that voice..Cameron!

" Cameron, I'm coming!!" 

Mike ran in the direction of screaming and looked in an open patch of grass. 
     Cameron was laying there, screaming for help as he was caught in a thick brown net.

    Mike was about to help when a tall pale boy with freckles, came running up with a sharp spear...Scott from District 1..

With one 빠른, 스위프트 throw,  Scott chucked the spear in Cameron's direction from 15 feet away.

Mike stared in horror..as if in slow motion.. The spear traveled in an arch like motion and peirced Cameron's stomach with a slice.

The boy yelled in pain, and whimpered.

"NO!!" Mike yelled in anger and sadness. He pulled back his 애로우 and shot Scott in the neck. Scott yanked the 애로우 out, but died as he fell to the ground.
  
   The tanned boy took out another arrow and prepped it.

"Cameron! Are 당신 okay? Are there any 더 많이 careers?" Mike asked furiously as he raced to the small teens side.

"N-No..." The bubble boy said weakly. "But..my stomach hurts really bad.."

Mike kneeled 다음 to Cameron and slowly lifted his head. Blood was dripping out of Cameron's mouth, but 더 많이 was dripping out of his wound and stained his bright red jacket.

The tall teen thought he was going to cry. His friend that  helped him was slowly dying painfully and sadly.

Mike cut the ropes around Cameron, while removing the spear in the process. He let Cameron's head prop up on some moss and stared at his dying buddy.

"No! I'm not letting my friend go! Not now! Not like this!" Mike choked, trying to hold back tears.

"It's no use Mike..I'm dying." Cameron said weakly. "Did 당신 destroy the careers 음식 supply?"

Mike nodded and let tears fall from his brown eyes.

"I just have one last request..can 당신 sing me the lullaby that my mom used to sing to me before I go?" The bubble boy asked again weakly.

Mike nodded and started 노래 to the poor little boy..

     Deep in the meadow, under the willlow,
A 침대 of grass, a soft green pillow
Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes
And when 당신 wake, the sun will rise

(Mike grips onto Cameron's bloody hand as the Small boy's vision started to become blurry)

Here it's safe, and here it's warm
Here the daisies guard 당신 from every harm

Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I 사랑 you.

(Cameron's breathing starts getting slow and uneven. He could feel his 심장 slowing down)

Deep in the meadow, hidden far away
A 망토, 망 토 of leaves, a moonbeam ray
Forget your woes and let your troubles lay

And when again it's morning, they'll wash away

(Mike couldn't hold it back anymore..he starts sobbing silently. Keeping a straight face, but let long and wet tears fall from his puffy eyes...but he keeps on singing)

Mike finished the last verse and lightly kissed Cameron's forehead. Like he would with his little sister back at 집 when he tucked her in 침대 at night.
    At that moment, Cameron's eyes started to close.. But he uttered one last thing.

"Thanks for being my friend Mike....and thanks for the song" 

Cameron breathed his last breath As his hand slipped from Mikes.

Mikes eyes watered even more.. He got up and ran to the nearby meadow. The tanned guy cut many 꽃 from the ground at carried it back to Cameron's dead body. He tucked one 꽃 in the dead boy's 셔츠 then wove a 침대 of 꽃 around him.

After he wove the flowers, Mike gave his friend one last nod, took the spear and back pack that Scott had, then walked away.

Just as Mike was about to walk deep into the forest..he turned..pressed three fingers on his lips..then pointed them in Cameron's direction.

"Don't worry Cam..I'll win for the both of us.."
     
  As the tall teen walked away..he heard Cameron's canon go off, them he let one last tear drop as her saw the U.F.O take the body away...

This is so sad! I'm crying right now!! I just wanted to make this because I though rue's death was unfair...an since Mike and Cameron are 프렌즈 in TDROTI..I just wanted to....So..comment..and tell me what 당신 think..BtW, won't be on the site for two hours..going to see Men in Black 3..
