Hello everyone, many people have asked me how do I make those types (which 당신 can see in this article) of icons. And I try to tell them but couldn’t explain it at that time. And that’s why I thought that I should write an 기사 about it, I wish it’ll help 당신 all to enhance your ability. This is not just a single article. I will 업로드 the 초 part too. Size : Size of 아이콘 does matter, best size for 아이콘 is (1OO x 1OO)cm 또는 (15O x15O) as in 팬팝 profiles our 아이콘 are shown between these two sizes. Though 당신 can extend it to (2OO X 2OO)cm. But 당신 extend it 더 많이 it looks like a fanart rather than an icon. So if 당신 want a “perfect” 아이콘 keep it under size (2OO X 2OO)cm.
Quality : Quality of picture is 초
most important thing for an icon, as 아이콘 are small in size so while editing keep in mind to not make the 아이콘 too bright 또는 blurred.
Effect : I have seen many editing works were people add effect which don’t suit the picture/icon, like there a 아이콘 of Flora which looks cute and with any 사진 editing website one add 불, 화재 flame effect to it which don’t 슈츠 it. Editing (such as that of pixlr express) works for pictures but not for icons. Adding too much glitter make 아이콘 very famine which is not liked 의해 everyone instead try to add little glitter/sparkles.
In photoshop 당신 can use soft edge (round) brush and just click where 당신 want it to be, not many but little soft glitter can make 아이콘 look adorable.
Text add another good thing to icons, try to add little and meaningful quote to icon, which takes 아이콘 to the 다음 standard.
Good 사진 editing website : Before I had Photoshop 7 I used to use link. It’s one of the best 사진 editing website. I have used Photoshop element 1O before and I can say it’s like PS element very much. It has free brushes, 당신 don’t need to download all just add then and save them. While adding text 당신 can give effect to texts too , drop shadow effect it good for it as it makes text 더 많이 realistic.
In 다음 part I’ll tell 당신 about shadow effect, techniques of using brushes, adding yellowish border (blended) and how to blend/merge images. If I couldn’t contain all of these topics in one I would write another 기사 for left ones.
Uploading : While uploading add ( 2OO X 2OO )cm 아이콘 add them 아이콘 당신 can add them in any category e.t. 팬 art 또는 icons. As it can be called 아이콘 (usually 아이콘 are of 1OO X1OO but it can be 2OO X 2OO) 또는 a 팬 art.
