'Vampire Diaries' Casting News: Is Damon Getting A 사랑 Interest?

ou know what they say about "The Vampire Diaries," when one character gets killed off, another one is just waiting in the wings (okay, so maybe only we say that).

Just yesterday, we brought 당신 the news that a character on the show was getting axed, but today we're getting word that another one is set to 가입하기 the cast—and we've got a feeling, she's going to be trouble!

Zap2It is reporting that Lauren Cohan ("Supernatural") has been cast as Rose, a "tough, sexy" vampire who will likely catch Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) eye (we feel your pain Dalena fans, but it's about time the guy got a legit 사랑 interest!).

That's not all though; the site also reports that Rose, who is over 500 years old and apparently very "elegant," will make her first appearance in episode eight, which is simply titled "Rose" (we're guessing that episode will be filled with 더 많이 thorns than petals). Zap2It's 출처 had this juicy tidbit to offer about the new gal in town: "Maybe there's some humanity left in her—have fun finding it." Could Damon have finally met his match?

Are 당신 excited for Rose to 가입하기 the cast? How do 당신 feel about Damon possibly getting a new 사랑 interest?

He was on his feet. I scrambled backwards. The hikers looked at him. The one that was looking at the scenery joined his friend and looked his leg.
“Man, it’s pretty deep. Sorry Kurt. We should have stopped back there.” Damon was walking towards them stealthily. Jeff looked up at him.
“Hey man, can 당신 come here and help me stop the bleeding?” Damon advanced.
“Of course, I’ll help 당신 stop the bleeding better than 당신 think.” He was walking stealthily, moving like a hunter – a predator. His body lowered but the hikers didn’t notice as they were concentrating on Kurt’s injury....

Stefan looked at the floor guiltily.
“Go on Stefan, explain yourself,” Damon pressed. Stefan looked up at him angrily.
“You already know everything.” He looked back at me. “Elena, I’m so sorry I left you. I asked Damon to tell 당신 everything and maybe if he had…” he glared up at Damon with a rage that petrified me. “Maybe if he had told 당신 then I wouldn’t be here explaining myself, I wouldn’t have walked in on 당신 two upstairs, and possibly we’d still be together…” I knew he was right. If Damon had told me that Stefan had said he loved me and he was sorry about whatever...
