I always look forward to reading these because I love hearing peoples ideas and opinions. But I do understand that it can be tiring and I have no problem with one word comments.

I love typing them and I love reading them. I don't mind one-word ones but if I type up this whole big thing and someone responds with 'cool' or 'lol' or something of the sort I get a bit frustrated like "all this typing for nothing?" So yeah, long comments. And besides, I like to hear peoples' reasoning for choosing what they chose.

^ I hate when I type long comments (and articles for that matter) and I don't get much feedback from it either.

I'm guilty of typing a ton when I have something to say, and most of my friends I talk to are the same, so it all works out xP

Also if we're talking about polls/answers here, then I like to read the reasoning behind peoples choices then reply with my own take on it. Makes for good reading and understanding.

Neither, really. I try to avoid either whenever I can. One-word comments annoy me, and essays are exhausting to read (I'm just that lazy).
