NyoHetaliaCreed I'm not very good with my Pokemon shippings, since they don't follow the whole 'someone x someone' structure or the name combination structure of naming so I tend to get my shippings mixed up. Though I will have to say that pairing (or in this case shipping) wars can be annoying. Not that I'm trying to put you off supporting a shipping.

blurayz3 I support a shipping because I enjoy apprecaiting character growth, feelings, and just their general adventure, including the people dear to them during their journey. You can connect with characters on a really great level that way. But im really not interested in any other ships apart from advance(ash+may) and contest(drew+may), and I have thought them through to a degree, but my mind will only derive so much about them. And I'm not looking for a war, cos frankly, either would be fine, I'd jsut like to see what people think. Personally, I prefer Advanceshipping, and think It would be slightly more likely, but thats not to say that I hate contestshipping, Drew is a decent character, I just though he wasn't featured enough, and his sporadic appearences made him a weaker candidate. I mean Isn't it great when the heros fall in love? but yeah, there are some ships which I really dislike, are just nonsense, or are plain sick(people like that ruin it for everyone) but, like I said, It's something I'd like to discuss, for the sake of it. :)

3kicks I never liked May, so I don't really like Advance. Also I didn't find them showing their love for each other. There were some hints here and there, but to me it was more like a brother-sister relationship. I love contestshipping! By far my favourite shipping! They're so cute together. How Drew would tease her, and give her roses. And how May would blush and always deny she had feelings for him. The last episode they had together was adorable until Harley came and ruined it! Anyways the reason why I love them so much (besides how cute they are!) because they both pushed each other to do better and helped each other out. It doesn't seem like just a friendship to me... I think it's way more (: Just my opinion though~

blurayz3 Theyre are actually loads of hints for advance shipping, you have to look out for them though....and i didnt hate contest shipping, it was just the fact it involved drew. i dont hate drew, hes a good character, i jsut dont think it wouldve worked aswell...to me, contestshipping seemed like drew had all the real feelings...which would make sense cos May is awesome XD but it hink advanceshipping felt more mutual, and seemed more practical, but, its great that you can have your own little opinions and fantasises about these sorta things, it jsut makes pokemon so much more in-depth and interesting, where your imagination can take you if you get a simple idea in your head like advanceshipping, and let your imagination run wild, thats the beauty of it xD what was wrong with May? I thought she was better then Dawn and Iris, and was about even awesomeness with misty

3kicks I don't like May because I found her rather annoying, and bland. I never really saw her grow, she was always immature to me. She's my least favourite Pokegirl. Just my opinion though. I know there's hints for advance but they don't seem like romantic hints. They seem like something anyone would do for a sister/brother or even a good friend. In my eyes I found them just being brotherly around each other. I don't think Drew had all the real feelings considering May used to always blush when they would talk. blurayz3 Oh, no I didnt think of it like that :L but back to the point, I'm not gonna bother trying to convince you that May is the best Pokegirl, because we're all entitled to our own opinions, and yeah, if you look at Contestshipping, it does seem slightly more real, but sometimes it felt to me like May was blushing through pure embarassment, and although she cared for Drew, he definatley seemed to like her more(until the episode 'The unbeatable lightness of seeing' and i would choose contestshipping as my second faviroute ship, it jsut seemed to me like Drew wasnt a strong enough character, he had this whole 'Oh pay attention to me I'm so hot and mysterious' and i jsut didn't think may was the type of person to buy that. Also, if you look at how defensive she got when her and Ash were mistaken for a couple, you could take that as a sign if you wanted to. realistically, Contestshipping is the winner, but that doesn't stop me supporting Advanceshipping over it, purley because Ash and May are my two faviroute characters, and It's great when two characters you love fall in love :L It's dumb yeah, but, that doesn't stop meh. :3 And Incase you didnt notice this is my post? i'm the one asking about shipping, I'm glad you've voiced your opinion, I find it interesting ^.^

Yeah Drew does give off that kind of vibe, but I love that about characters. I hate characters that are so normal, and not out there because you don't notice them. blurayz3 Hha dawn was okay for me...but she started with too much confidence, and I think she found Pokemon contests a little too easy at first, whereas May had to struggle, but, it depends If you like watching characters with little confidence struggle, doubt themselves, but achieve great things in the end...I do, and thats one of the reasons I adore May so much, how she never quite did it, but you could always see she had done her absolute best ^.^ it also seems to me like Ash just had more time for her then any of the other Pokegirls...he would never raise his voice to her,(excluding the episode the bicker the better, which is good for advanceshipping, how the two made up in the end was sweet) and he always came through for her, selflessley. He's done that countless times with all his female counterparts, but he's risked his life so many times for May, it just seems like he values her so much more. Plus, I think after Advanced generation, Contestshipping got a knock on the head. in Diamond and Pearl(a series ive not really seen enough of to analyse Pearlshipping well), when May comes back, drew hardly gets a mention, and she seems so much more interested in Ash, and you think about what could've happened over in Johto with May and Drew, it could've been anything. Contestshipping was stronger then advanceshipping in Advancedgeneration yes, but, you gotta think about how May and Ash might've felt without eachother-Maybe May and Drew hadn't seen eachothe scince Kanto, there's no way to know, but, I think he would've made a much more grande cameo in Diamond and Pearl if the writers felt he was that important to May, who was a central character for a few episodes in Diamond and Pearl. Again, there no way of knowing everything that May and Drew did, saw, and said in Johto, so, you can pretty much imagine that for yourself.

3kicks Well Dawn did get knocked down pretty bad, losing two contests in the first round. So her confidence definitely got lowered, so in a way she was like May. I just found May to whine about it. I have to disagree with "it also seems to me like Ash just had more time for her then any of the other Pokegirls" considering Ash didn't go to all of May's contests like he did with Dawn. It just seemed like they weren't as important to him. Well Drew did make an apperance, watching May so it shows that they are still close enough for Drew to care about her. But Drew was never a main character, so bringing him back would have been a little odd considering he wasn't in much of the Advanced Generation. In my opinion she only cared so much for him because they spent so much time for him, it would have been stupid if she didn't care for him at all. She's one of his bestfriends. Well I bet May and Drew did see each other, considering she said she's going to Johto so she can compete with Drew, Solidad, and Harley. So I'm guessing they had to of met up. That's what kind of upsetted me about May's apperance, she never talked about anything that happened with her in Johto, and how she did in the Johto contests... but like you said, we can imagine that.

blurayz3 May didn't really whine about it, she lost, cried, and came back. Dawn just took it too heart, like in the Wallace cup, she almost backed out, because she didn't feel like 'Getting back into it'. She also found too many excuses, she wasn't as down to earth as May, she tended to avoid anything as soon as it became tough at first. I'm not critisising her, but, she didn't have the right attitude for me early on, It just seemed she thought everything was gonna come up roses, and she didn't really want to work for anything, and you could argue May was slightly like that, but, she got it in her head early on how much hard work being a coordinator would be, and she stuck to it, enevr giving up on herself. I won't say Dawn's 'pathetic' because thats way to harsh, but I would say she didn't adopt the right attitude till someone actually told her to pull her finger out, and get on with it, whereas May did everything off her own back. But yeah, I see where you're coming from with Pearlshipping-It isn't a bad ship by any sense of the word, but, again, i just feel advance is a little more potent, although he didn't go to all May's contests, he was always the first to lend her a helping hand, and he obviously had time for her when she felt insecure, or upset, and he never put himself before her-Look at the episode 'true blue swablu' where Ash was really eager to get to his next Gym battle, but once May got attatched to the injured Swablu, he said 'you're gonna take as much time as you need to help out your friend!' and he did it, with no regard for his Gym battle. His thoughtfullness for May is huge, with things like that, and all the little things he did along the way. What about when they split the ribbon? Thats sweet ^.^ Again, I can see where your coming from, with the whole 'brother/sister relationship' that they could have, and It's perfectley legit too read i like that, but, I choose to read it in a different way, and that's okay too. Like how you choose to read Pearlshipping as romantic, I choose to read it as Mentor/apprentice or 'Brother/sister'. It's better when people have different interpretations of the same thing, it makes life so much more interesting.

mistymaydawngo Well I never got to see the whole advanced season of Advanced only like 5-10 episodes so and also the movies with May soo I can't really say much about that My favorite shippings are Pokeshipping and Penguinshipping but I also like Negaishipping
