How to Draw a Pegasus Pony:

Why hello there! :) Today, as 당신 have hopefully seen in the title, I will be teaching 당신 how to draw a pegasus. This was requested 의해 Rafen40k. I am sorry if my directions are hard to understand. Just take a look at the pictures below for step 의해 step instructions. If 당신 pegasus doesn’t come out the way 당신 want thats ok. It takes time to learn how to draw. Also yes there is a picture of AJ in the background in the photos. She is there because I am trying to reuse paper and not waste it. I had drawn her earlier but anyways... and yeah! The pictures are backwards so if 당신 would rather use them instead of the instructions, thats fine too. I am using a webcam. Know that 당신 know that... lets get started. ;D

1.) Start off with drawing a 원, 동그라미 about the size of a small shell 당신 would find at the beach. Draw it lightly and not to hard. 당신 will go over the outside again later. (I am going to draw it darker only because I want 당신 to see it. ;D

2.) Start at the 상단, 맨 위로 of the 원, 동그라미 and make your way around moving towards the left. 당신 might want to look at the picture for this one. Its kind of hard to explain.

3.) From the point where 당신 stopped, draw a line straight out, to the right, only about the size of a dime.

4.) Draw a line down from there. This will be how tall your pegasus will be. 당신 want a tall pegasus pony? Go right ahead! 당신 want to make a filly? Sure! For me I’m just gonna draw a normal sized one. 당신 can do whatever 슈츠 당신 fine though.

5.) Draw a line to the left about the width of a piece of Hershey’s chocolate. Then draw a line up till 당신 reach a little higher than the belly but not too high. 당신 might want to look at the picture...

6.) Go back to the other line on 상단, 맨 위로 of the 원, 동그라미 당신 drew earlier. Use that line to draw its back. The size will vary depending on how tall 또는 short your pegasus is. (Look at picture if 당신 need help. )

7.) Now draw the stomach. It should reach across almost the width of the back but not so much that 당신 can’t draw the front legs.

8.) Now we are going to draw the front legs. As 당신 can see the front legs are different from the back ones. To do then all 당신 do is draw two parallel lines, about the same size and the back hoof, down to the bottom. Make sure they line up with the back legs. Then draw a line connecting them.


9.) Now for the head and front part of the pony. Start off 의해 drawing a curved line from a little bit below the 초 line of the front hoof. Just look at the picture because its really hard to explain.

10.) Then draw a curved line a little bit inward from the other line... Ok I don’t know how to explain it so Just look at the pictures untill 당신 get to step 14.

14.) Ok so now 당신 have to outline of a pony. We need to make it a pegasus. Well first 당신 need to decide what wings 당신 want. There are three types that I know how to draw. (See picture) Choose one. If 당신 choose option 1, keep reading. If 당신 choose #1, skip to step 20. If 당신 choose #3, skip to step 26.

15.) Lets Turn this 조랑말 into a pegasus! xD First draw a line from the far left side of the back to almost the 상단, 맨 위로 of her head.

16.) Make a loop.

17.) Make another loop, this one smaller than the other one and a little shorter.

18.) Make two 더 많이 loops. till 당신 reach the bottom.

19.) Draw 3 smaller loops inside those loops. Now 당신 have wings! :) (If any of this confused you, just look at the pictures. I am not very good at explaining things... ) Please skip to step 29.

20.) 당신 have chosen... Wing number... 2! ;D Ok lets get started. First do the same thing as step 15. Make a line but a little bit taller since these will be bigger wings than the other ones.

21.) Draw a line across from that line about the same length as the ponies back.

22.) Start to make Feathers. (look at picture for reference.)

23.) Casually make them smaller untill it looks like this. (Look at picture.)

24.) Repeat steps 20-23 but make it smaller and inside the wing.

25.) Now 당신 have a Pegasus! ;D 당신 can now skip to step 29.

26.) Congrats! 당신 have chosen wing Number 3! ;D Lets get started first make a U shape across the ponys back. It should look something like this. (Look at picture please)

27.) Then Draw 3 loops kind of like 당신 did with the other wings but smaller.

28.) Then draw 2 lines across the hoops so it touches the bottom of the U.

29.) Go over the lines so they are darker and that way 당신 can see them better

30.) So there 당신 have it! The outline of a Pegasus. I made mine 무지개, 레인 보우 Dash just cause I felt like it. 당신 can make yours whoever 당신 want. I hope 당신 had fun doing this and I might make some 더 많이 of these 기사 if people enjoy this. If 당신 want post your pictures so I can see if my instructions actually worked that would be helpful. And also, sorry if it is really long. U have a lot of 사진 and instructions so yeah... And BTW this took me like an hour, not just 글쓰기 it but taking all the 사진 too. So I hope 당신 like it. :)
