So I've seen this on other spots, Tumblr and I thought we can try it here.

Taxi Driver
I expected great things, but none of my expectations were met. It was a seriously underwhelming movie. But at least Niro was nice to look at.

Anything by Hayao Miyazaki is brilliant but this one is particularly gorgeous; compelling and heartbreaking with complex themes.

Day Eleven - A character you can relate to most
Nina Sayers:
In ways, I am like her. To me, she seems rather quiet (during the beginning of the movie at least) and that she'd rather keep to herself. I am completely like that. She is also described a fragile/gentle, I can relate to that as well. But I think I would also be like Hermione Grange (from Harry Potter). Grades and work are important to me.

My most watched movies as a kid were probably The Rogue Stallion, Candleshoe and this one. Going with MD for today, since it's the last one of those I watched. =)

I more than just loved this movie, I was obsessed with it. It was on TV a while ago and I watched it. When I did I realized it wasn't as good as I thought it was. It wasn't the worst movie I've even seen, but it definitely wasn't as amazing as I thought it once was.

Given that I tend to watch movies I like over and over and over again, I could pick any number of movies here. But I'll go with Nightmare Before Christmas, because I watch it every Halloween and every Christmas.

It's actually 3:10 to Yuma (2007) BUT I've already used that once here, so the next best remake is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003). When Platinum Dunes churns out more horror remakes, you can tell they are trying so hard to be like their first big successful one. They all fail. This set up the tension perfectly (that first scene...wow), the cinematography, and the super fantastic perfect gorgeous cast. This is what all horror remakes should aspire to be.

What's not to love about this movie? I've never liked actions movies very much, but this is one of the best. After this is, without a doubt, one of the Batman films.

Um... I'm not a big fan of theaters. I guess Jackass the Movie, so I could say I'd seen all the Jackass movies with theatrical releases in actual theaters. Missed that one.

It wasn't that I hated this movie or anything, but I think Tim Burton could have done better. It did not live up to what I expected it to be.

Day 18 - A movie nobody would expect you to love
That depends on the person you ask. People in real life are always shocked to find out I LOVE horror movies because I don't look like the "type" irl, but people who know me well are usually shocked when they learn I love A Walk To Remember because it's all sappy & romantic and I hate that kinda stuff. But I love, love this movie.

Another one I decided to watch for a cast member. I couldn't take more than about 20 minutes of it. Instead of describing why it was so bad, I'm gonna just throw some things at you in a way far more exciting than anything you'd see in that movie: 3 minutes of a car passing in front of the camera! 4 minutes of boring "exotic dancers!" No, seriously, they were boring! Staring off into space! Two lines of dialogue! Another boring stripper sequence! A full figure skating routine featuring one of the Fanning brats! Stop! Eject! Use as frisbee!
