He was in "The Deer Hunter" alongside Meryl, Robert DiNeiro, Christopher Walken and John Savage. Apparantly, there was trouble with insurance because of his condition but Meryl refused to shoot without him.

Then when he died she was kicked out of her apartment because she couldn't afford the rent on her own. Then her brothers friend said that she could live with him until she get a new place and she married him and tey had 4 kids lol.

I've only found about 3 photos of them together, and also their acting in 'The Deer Hunter.' I wish I could find more footage!
