***Edward's POV***


"Edward." Carlisle's voice called, getting me to turn my attention to him. I had done my best to block out his thoughts but once he called my name I lowered them slowly.

"Edward," His voice sighed through my head. "Edward 당신 need to know this story, it is one I haven't told to anyone before. I hope that in the story 당신 find some spark, some small mistake that they made that could help us get out of this situation. Please Edward listen, do not say a word..just nod if 당신 agree."

I nodded slightly as I looked into his eyes, closing my eyes as he began his story...

"Jacob, is your father there?" Charlie 백조 asked, and from the tone in his voice I knew something was wrong.

"Dad, it's Charlie." I said as I handed him the phone. My Dad made a bunch of uh huh's and oh no's before he told Charlie that he would be up as soon as possible.

"What's up?" I asked.

"We have to go to Forks, NOW" He said as he went and grabbed a 재킷, 자 켓 off the hooks 의해 the door.

"Why?" I wondered as I grabbed my 재킷, 자 켓 and the keys.

"Bella's missing." He said as he wheeled to the door.

I was instantly moving, grabbing my 재킷, 자 켓 and beating my father to the car. I helped...

"Thank you." She said as she took my hand and stood up, moving fast enough that she pressed herself against me and hugged me tightly.

End of Chapter 1

Maria did teach me, she taught me how to kill and fight..not as I fought before but fight as a vampire. She taught me how to use my new speed, how to be stronger than anyone, and how to handle the new 'people' that she brought in.

She said that this would be my job, I would be the trainer. I would help the new ones adjust and teach them the ways, that I would be a leader. It would be my job to keep them in line, to be the enforcer...

"Well, even though 당신 hate it...I wish 당신 the happiest of birthdays Bella." I said as I reached 앞으로 and hugged her awkwardly.

"Thanks Jake, see ya later." She said as she patted my back.

I got my father all situated in the car and before I knew it we were half way home. The night was so dark, the sky clouded over so that the stars were blocked. I squinted as I drove, my eyes searching the sides of the road for deer 또는 other wild life....

***Emmett's POV***

My family all says that they are bored, that they are sick of the same thing everyday. Thing of it is that it isn't the same everyday, I mean yes we have to go to school which starts in a few hours...but that is another adventure.

Rosalie was running in and out of the closet as I lay on the 침대 watching her. She would run in, and a few 분 come out with a different outfit on..look in the mirror and turn around running back into the closet...

It was a normal Tuesday, Alice and I had just returned from school to find the house empty. Alice sighed as she opened the door and went instantly to the couch, sitting 십자가, 크로스 legged as she stared into space.

"Where is everyone?" I asked as I sat 다음 to her on the couch.

"Carlisle is at work, Esme is out shopping...without me, and Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper went hunting." She said in a bored tone.

"Oh." I said as I went upstairs, it was obvious that Alice was not in the mood to talk 또는 have people around.

"He made up his mind as soon as your 'friend' confirmed that it was too late to save you." I said.

As she rose, Jacob stood up too, putting himself between Bella and I as if he were going to protect her from me.
