Staring at the box’s content, Hugh’s jaw slowly dropped. Out of everything, he didn’t expect this. He spread it all over the living room carpet and started looking it through thoroughly.
Was anyone supposed to dream in this much detail and preciosity? He looked at the papers in front of him and gasped.
Old magazine articles. The oldest one dating August 2004. The newest one August 2009.
His jaw remained in the same place, he did not expect this. He looked at the first 기사 again. The picture to go with it showed a pregnant Lisa. He began 읽기 it.
“The 별, 스타 of the upcoming show “House”, which will be shown on FOX, still has no 코멘트 on her baby’s father. Lisa’s character’s, Dr. Cuddy’s, storyline would stay as first planned. The creator of the show told our magazine that the actress informed them of possibly having kids during the show’s running, even though they didn’t expect it to be that soon. They have filmed a good deal of episodes already and they say Lisa’s pregnancy would have no impact on the show, 또는 would be mentioned whatsoever.
We tried to speak with the actress several times, but she has no intention of sharing anything regarding her pregnancy with the press.
The baby’s father is still a secret.”
Interesting… Hugh stared. So, this is how it all happened. So, what was she… 4 months pregnant then? She looked like 3-4 months pregnant. She showed just a little bit. He did the math… They started preparing for the show somewhere in February… This made sense, but it didn’t make sense. Hugh was confused. How could he cheat on his wife?
The 다음 기사 almost gave him an answer.
“11/04 “House” 별, 스타 filing for a divorce”
There were two pages of it.
Hugh couldn’t believe what he read.
The 다음 기사 was even 더 많이 intriguing
“01/05 The real truth about Hugh’s divorce”
The 기사 kept talking about Hugh seeing Lisa and them hanging around suspiciously on the set.
And the 기사 after that one were going crazy about Hugh possibly being the baby’s father.
“02/05 Meet Elyon Eva Laurie Edelstein”
So, they confirmed it. There were 사진 of Elyon all over the magazine. Hugh couldn’t take his eyes of her. She was so adorable. One of the pictures made him extremely happy. Charlie, Billy and Becca scooted around her. So, they loved her even then.
The 다음 bunch of 기사 Hugh just glanced at- the 기사 dated 09/06 seeming a lot 더 많이 interesting.
“Hugh and Lisa tie a knot”
There were some pictures of their wedding 일 featured too.
Hugh smiled. He seemed so happy in those pictures. Going through another pile, Hugh realized everything revolving around the show stayed the same. Every plot line, every spoiler, every interview, everything was the same.
He found that odd. Yes, there were some 질문 regarding Lisa and his relationship but other than that, it was all the same.
Hugh was amazed with the fact his brain could extend and work on a dream so brilliantly.
He kept browsing the articles.
He got some really useful information.
They moved into this house in 2006, a little before they got married. Jo almost hadn’t commented on Lisa and his relationship, but Hugh was sure if she did, Lisa wouldn’t keep those articles. Apparently, Elyon was four years and seven months old, if it still was August 2009.
Nicholas was born on April 2008. He was one 년 and four months old. Hugh still couldn’t figure out how they managed to mask Lisa’s pregnancy, Cuddy wasn’t pregnant. However, there was the writers’ strike, so that could explain how her pregnancy stayed in shadow.
Hugh smirked when he read “Does Brangelina have a new rival?” regarding the amount of kids the both families had.
Looking at the latest magazine article, which featured an interview, he realized it was the one they took at the Paley. But it was a little bit different.
In the ‘real’ life, it went something like
“And I got to make out with Hugh” from Lisa and then he replied with
“Clarify” to which, she responded with
“On camera” 또는 something like that, he started having a hard time separating the two ‘worlds’.
The interview in front of him went like:
“And I got to make out with Hugh…” from Lisa followed by
“You always do” from him and finished with
“Not on camera” from Lisa
It was interesting how these two worlds complemented each other. Hugh smiled, yes, his brain really, really thoroughly thought this dream through. But why? Why when he never thought of Lisa as anything other than his good friend?
He kept thinking about it, now looking at Nick’s 사진 shot for a magazine when he was just a few weeks old. He was adorable, just like his sister.
Hugh heard the front door opening and checking his watch, he realized he’d been looking at the 기사 for 더 많이 than two hours. Lisa was home, and he had to act quickly if he didn’t want her to find him going through the articles. That would only make her suspicious, and ruin everything, possibly making him wake up.
And glancing at Elyon and Nick, he wasn’t sure he was ready to wake up yet.
