Lately I have come across many, many, many blogs talking about how twilight is better than Harry Potter. Now I'm going to tell 당신 the reasons why that is so completely wrong!
1. Harry Potter has structured plot. If 당신 think about it, Twilight is just about a girl with no emotion who gets stalked 의해 a sparkling pixie. Harry Potter is about a boy who has to endure many difficult challenges growing up in life, like having to face the fact his parents were killed 의해 Lord Voldemort, and eventually overcoming all of this and defeating the darkest wizard of the age. Plus there are things like ACTUAL 사랑 in this. Not paedophilia love.
2. There is plenty of character development. In Harry Potter Hermione starts off as an insufferable know it all with no 프렌즈 and then turns into the brightest witch of her age along with helping the most famous boy in the world defeat the darkest wizard of their time. Neville starts off as a nerdy, shy boy and turns into a BAMF. Bella in Twilight starts off as a girl with no emotion and turns into a girl with no emotion and an enormous sex drive. Edward starts off as a 108 년 old virgin who hates himself and turns into a 108 년 old just-lost-virginity-to-sex-addicted-girl who hates himself.
3. Twilight copied Harry Potter. I have seen way to many HP copied Twilight but THIS IS COMPLETELY FALSE. Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban came out way before Twilight did so if I must say so myself. Jacob is a cheap rip off from Sirius. It was Sirius who had the motorcycle first, Sirius who could turn into a dog at will first, Sirius who's last name was Black first. Not Jacob. Sirius.
4. Most Twilight 팬 say that there is no such thing as wizards. Well there's no such thing as sparkly 뱀파이어 either 당신 morons! At least wizards are 더 많이 realistic than sparkly vampires. For all we know, there could be wizards and witches living alongside us. It is completely possible. Whereas the 뱀파이어 would never be able to go out in sunlight. That is going to be pretty hard to do considering the fact that in summer it can be very sunny, every single day, for months.
5. I've seen some people say that Twilight is better than Harry Potter because Twilight is American and Harry Potter is British. And Americans are better than the British. I even saw someone write that Britain fought against America in WW2 and lost. First, Twilight is shit. It does not matter about where it came from. America came into the war near the end. We were allies. We never fought against each other. And 당신 won because of our help. Get your facts right love.
6. Most people can apparently understand and connect with the characters from Twilight. Oh I see! 당신 can connect with a suicidal, no facial expression, depressed girl who's only goal in life is to fuck a sparkly pixie. 당신 CAN connect with the characters from Harry Potter. Hermione was bullied quite a bit during her early years for being smart. Many people can relate to that. Harry had to endure the grief of his parents dying and becoming an orphan. Many people can relate to that. Ron has to live in a place where his mum and dad have had to many children to manage and can barely afford new things. Considering the countries economical crisis at the moment, it is pretty easy to relate to that.
7. Twihards say that they don't like all the deaths in the HP series and it's really depressing. They say 'who would want to think of something like that?! HP is saying that death is normal and natural... No one wants to think like that!' Well in response to that. Every death in HP had a meaning. 검색 it on Google. You'll find it. And to a well organised mind, death is but the 다음 great adventure. Death is common and normal and natural. We all live and we all die. Completely natural. And it is very common around LEDC's which are places like Africa.
8. Twihard complain that there's nobody hot, aside from Robert Pattinson, in the HP series. Well for your information, a NORMAL place doesn't have hot guys with their shirts off after every corner! They are normal human beings who maybe aren't hot 또는 fit but not everyone is!
9. Apparently every book in Twilight is different. But they're all about one thing. Bella becoming a vampire. Every book in the HP series is different! They all have different plot twists and keep 당신 읽기 의해 adding details that 당신 have to know 더 많이 about.
10. Apparently, all they do in HP is fly around on brooms and kill people with sticks (this is NOT true). All they do in Twilight is play base ball and kill people with teeth.
11. When they make a theme park for Twilight. 당신 can start comparing it to Harry Potter.
12. When they make a film called Harry Potter sucks. 당신 can start comparing Twilight to Harry Potter. There is actually a film called Twilight sucks! It's actually quite funny :D
13. Wizards are original! 뱀파이어 have been used so many times! They only thing that makes this different is that they sparkle like they rolled around in fairy dust. Lets take a look at how many vampire films, 책 and TV shows that are made about 뱀파이어 shall we? Twilight, Buffy the vampire slayer, The vampire diaries, 30 days of night, Count Dracula, Dark shadows. There are so many films like that, that I'm actually laughing at how original 당신 all thought twilight was :L
14. Harry Potter uses sophisticated words that Twilight readers wouldn't understand. I have noticed the amount of spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in a Twihard's work. Notice I haven't made a single mistake in any of my 글쓰기 so far. And I have never read any of the Twilight books. I have just seen the films. In fact I have a Twilight book! I use it as emergency toilet paper! Even though my 나귀, 엉덩이 deserves better.
