2.In the book when they actually did kiss.Harry had gotten detention for using the Sectumsempra spell on Draco. Ginny had to play Seeker in the Champonship Quidditch against Ravenclaw(and Cho).
After detention Harry walked into the Griffindor common room and saw everyone partying.Ron was clucthing the cup and heres what the book says happened next:
HARRY LOOKED AROUNG;THERE WAS GINNY RUNNING TOWARD HIM;SHE HAD A HARD BLAZING LOOK ON HER FACE AS SHE THREW HER ARMS AROUND HIM.AND WITHOUT THINKING,WITHOUT PLANNING IT, WITH OUT WORRYING THAT FIFTY PEOPLE WERE WATCHING, HARRY KISSED HER.
