It was the ultimate reassuring moment for anyone who has ever had to question where they came from, and I just identified so much with her reaction. Then they cut to Shelby on stage, and the minute Rachel started walking forward I went from teary eyed, to crying like a baby. Also, its not that Shelby rejected Rachel, first of all she broke some heavy laws by contacting her in the first place, and secondly she saw how mature Rachel already was and realized she missed her chance to be a mother to her, and felt as if she was intruding. posted over a year ago.
