It all comes down to money--the corporate sponsorship/ownership of the news outlets. The 더 많이 mainstream sources are going to try to appeal to the broadest audience, so focusing "too much" on LGBT issues won't do. 당신 get certain groups complaining, threatening the sponsors, and 당신 see where it goes. At least now there are networks, like MSNBC, which will provide positive coverage of LGBT events. Then there are the internet news feeds, but I'm betting 당신 know this!
