A/N1: Lee Adama ended up instructing self-defense classes (instrumental to landing him within loads of UST with Dee), upon the return from Kobol – an activity not quite inherent to his duties, 또는 even leisure, as CAG. This is a take on the plausible scenario of that happening.

Set some time after 'Home, Part II', but before the 'Flight of the Phoenix', season 2. Mentions of the events, taking place in the 'Valley of Darkness' and earlier.

A/N2: My knowledge and experience of the fire-arm practice routine is a lot 더 많이 scarce, than Billy's, so whatever incongruities there might be, are mea...

A/N: There're apparent (and frustrating) narrative gaps in between Lee Adama pushing Dee away, in so many words, in 'Black Market' and them on a 날짜 in 'Sacrifice'; 또는 Lee and Dee hardly seen on-screen together for most of season 4.0 (though, if 당신 look reeeeeeally close, it's Dee seated 의해 Lee's side at the memorial service in 'Escape Velocity') and them quite comfortable and in sync together in 'Revelations', let alone 'Sometimes a Great Notion'.

This twin-drabble is intended to explore how the lingering bitterness of loss upon the ordeal of fighting Scar (season 2) and the shattering...

Lee Adama's mixed, 또는 *allegedly* mixed motivations for getting married to Dee had been haunting his ability to indulge in family happiness for quite a while (up until he actually managed to frak things up into nearly loosing the one truly good thing that'd ever happened to him - Dee).

Incidentally, I don't happen to believe the sole reason driving Lee into marriage was woe and/or spite over losing his 'one twuuuu wuuuuv', Starbuck, that is, and going after a consolation prize (which still seems to be a 인기 opinion in the fandom). That would've been too soap-opera cheesy and inconsistent...

A/N: The issue of Dee getting her commission as a Colonial officer was never alluded to specifically on the show. My guess is, Lee Adama might not have welcomed the idea wholeheartedly right away, for intricately interwoven reasons.

Set immediately prior to the colonization of New Caprica (i.e. Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II).

A/N: This is a bit unexpected, but the 'it all has happened before, it all will happen again' mantra has always been instrumental to unwinding the BSG mythos, after all. Hence, it could only make sense certain haunting issues would transcend the eidetic memory of Colonials long after any mention of Galactica's odyssey was 로스트 in history of Earth 2.0.

Lee Adama, for one, may finally get to rediscover certain peace over the tormenting 'why' of Dee's demise way back over a different Earth.

Set on Earth 2.0. Present day. Allusions to events in 'Resurrections Ship. Part 2', 'Taking a Break from...

A/N: It has always seemed apparent, Lee and Dee were forced to face some significant logistic issues, carrying out a stealth relationship. Lee's promotion to Commander and reassignment to Pegasus could've hardly made matters easier in that respect. As much as his promotion to President later on (yes, I'm consistently going with the narratively deductible presumption Lee and Dee could be working their way back to each other gradually up to 'Revelations'/'SAGN' arc of season 4).

Set soon after Lee's appointment as Commander of Pegasus (but before the Guardian baseship mission), season 2, and...

A/N: I'm not sure where this one came from, but it always seemed apparent Lee Adama's innermost sense of inadequacy, confusion and guilt was instrumental to driving him into the darker corners of self-inflicted hurt and hatred, at various points through the series and through his marriage, respectively.

A rather murky glimpse of Lee's character and Lee/Dee dynamics through the aftermath of Groundbreaking 일 ('Unfinished Business'), 'The Passage', 'Taking A Break from All your Worries' and 'Sometimes a Great Notion' episodes.

A/N: I'm thoroughly intrigued with the narrative transition of Lee Adama's and Dee's dynamics in latter half of season 2. A take on how Lee and Dee might have actually ended up on a 날짜 at the 별, 스타 Lounge of 구름, 클라우드 Nine in 'Sacrifice',.

Set in between Billy's proposal and the scene at the Lounge bar. Admiral Adama gets to feature briefly.

A/N: There's a notable hiatus (almost a month) in between Lee's discharge from Galactica in 'Six of One' and his inauguration as a Caprican Quorum Delegate in 'The Ties That Bind', season 4. It figured, he was either stuck catching up on his predecessor's paperwork and background reading, 또는 out on the fleet, meeting his voters. And possibly, arriving at certain epiphanies about himself, his past, his prospects, his choices concerning political career and relationship with Dee.

Throw an abandoned baby into the mix to make matters 더 많이 exciting and a tad 더 많이 mushy.

Set in between 'Six of One'...

A/N: Of the many expectations Lee Adama had to face through his life, the ones concerning how it ought to be becoming of him to handle grief were, 의해 far, the hardest to meet.

Set post 'Sometimes A Great Notion', season 4. Mentions of episodes through the span of the series.

A/N: Guess, I'm still to work the bulk of the 'Sometimes A Great Notion' Lee Adama-angst out of my system. This 분 drabble is intended to tackle Lee's most initial shock at the news of Dee's demise. Helo gets to feature.

Set around the notorious morgue scene in 'SAGN', season 4.

Exempt from change*

Helo was still saying something, around the sobs. Some gibberish about Gaeta finding her. The gun. He didn't very well bother to listen, for it wasn't true, anyway. Sure enough. They had 공식 만찬, 저녁 식사 together and danced....

A/N: Yet another take in the 'stages-of-grief' type of snapshot project I intend to carry out. A glimpse of Lee Adama treading into waters of rage in the aftermath of Dee's demise, this time. Could be considered a companion piece to 'Taught 의해 Thirst', but is well off as a stand-alone too.

Featuring Chief Tyrol. Set sometime before the events in 'A Disquiet Follows My Soul', season 4.

A/N: Colorless meekness of the demolished Earth resonated perfectly with the 사무용 겉옷, 전반적인 emotional slant of 'Sometimes a Great Notion' episode. So this is a bit of an impressionistic take on Lee Adama's initial reaction to Dee's demise.

Set, for the most part, before and through the morgue scene (short of the Admiral making an entrance).

A/N: Seeing as I'm reluctant for now to post some of my graver post-SAGN pieces - let Mr. and Mrs. Leeland Joseph Adama still have hope for a modicum of happiness.

It seemed unplausible there would no investigation into the circumstances of Cally's tragic death. 더 많이 unplausible still it would seem the acute state of distress and despair that, eventually, brought on Dee's demise later on, had no 이전 emotional grounds.

So Dee is arrested for Cally's murder and Lee gets to ponder his responsibilities and shortcomings as a man and a husband. I keep consistently adhering to the narratively...
