One of the things I actually really do love about her is how active she is.

Punzie is the last of the "true" heroines officially "crowned" as part of the Disney Princess lineup. Rapunzel, as princesslullaby said, doesn't start out saving lives, but once she leaves her tower, she saves Eugene several times, prevents Eugene and Maximus from killing each other, and tries to prevent Gothel from killing Eugene by offering herself in trade. I am giving her credit for doing many of the same things that Cinderella, Ariel, Mulan, and Pocahontas did before her.

When I think of a heroine, I think of Wonder Woman, and female characters who acted like Diana Prince did. Unafraid to step in and help people, and who risked their own lives for a cause.

She pursues her goal and succeeds.

Yeah I agree with princesslullaby damsel to heroine, but I'm going to choose damsel, because in the end other people are the ones that save her, even if she does take the initiative more than not.

I agree with Princesslullaby.

I don't think she's so much a heroine for how many people she saved (although heroic in its own way), but the thing that truly makes her a heroine is standing up to Mother Gothel at the end - that was her biggest obstacle.
