How about: She has many things from humane world because she's fascinates by humans. Of course she doesn't know what there for! Just like if we were in her world would we know that giant clams are like chairs?! At least she came close enogth by using a fork to brush her hair! Ariel hids all this staff because air dad is very mean and because he hates the humans so much he would destroy everything Ariel has. So of course she would not show it to anyone! She can only trust Flaounder! Not Sebastian cuz his going to tell on her!
She's not hoarder! She just likes to collect amazing, unexplainable things fom the world she curious about! She's adventurous! She doesn't look sad or ashamed of her collection! She's happy and fascinated!

I didn't know what a hoarder is, but I read the symptoms on Google, and I'm pretty sure Ariel is one.

I understand how it could be hoarding but but I think it is more of collecting. (I did look up both hoarding and collecting.) I know its not the definition but hoarding to me is un-organization, dirty, trashy.... I know some hoarding isn't like that but all most all the cases I have personally seen or heard about were that way to some extent.

I think she could be possibly, at least she has space to store everything.. wish I did :L
