Raya and the Dragon is a 디즈니 animated film that was released in 2021. Like with a lot of 디즈니 animated films, it's been getting great reviews. Does it deserve that? Does it live up to the hype? That's what this review is about.

Plot:

Raya and the Last Dragon's plot is about people of different nations, who used to get along with each power, becoming rivals who fight over pieces of power. Raya's father dreamed of bringing peace to the nations, but it's Raya herself who will have to make that happen. It's up to her to find the last dragon, Sisu, and get her to bring peace to the world. Raya and Sisu are aided 의해 a group of 프렌즈 they meet along the way, but Raya's childhood rival, Namaari, is trying to stop them.

Raya and the Last Dragon is a film that benefits from having a plot that's both very serious and very optimistic. The film deals with different groups of people being distrusting and antagonistic towards each other. It deals with people who are willing to do bad things to get power. The film could be seen as a commentary on how people in real life will go too far to get power. They'll turn against 프렌즈 and start wars to achieve what they think is necessary. However, the film shows that fighting over power is wrong. It's an optimistic tale about how we can all come together and be on good terms with each other if we treat others with kindness.

The film also deals with being open-minded and friendly to people 당신 just met, while also being practical and reasonable. The two 제목 characters represent this. Raya is the one who has been lacking in trust and while she is kind and heroic, she's also ready for a fight. Sisu represents the optimistic side. She's kind, quirky and is 더 많이 than ready to become 프렌즈 with people she just met. Raya and Sisu really complete each-other and they help make the film both a cautionary tale and a joyful story about people learning to be 더 많이 accepting of others.

The film's tone is very well handled. 디즈니 works hard to make films that appeal to families. They have made several wholesome, good-natured films, but sometimes, they interrupt potentially-emotional scenes with moments of comedy relief. While this particular film has lots of silly moments, the film spends time on emotional and poignant scenes. It's an exciting and moving story, while also being fun and enjoyable.

Characters:

While Raya isn't a princess in the traditional sense, she is still being treated as Disney's newest princess. The important 질문 is if she's a good addition to the princess lineup. In my opinion, she is. Raya is a stand-out amongst female 디즈니 protagonists. She is a strong character, both physically and emotionally. She is very skilled and has sharp fighting skills. She also has a compassionate 심장 and although she tries to be hard-edged, deep down, she truly is an optimistic person. Her father, Benja, is a very compassionate and charming man who has a 심장 filled with hope. Raya and her father have a strong, touching bond.

However, the character who is truly optimistic is Sisu. Sisu is a bundle of joy. She's a treat to watch whenever she's on-screen. In my opinion, 디즈니 has struggled to make their animal characters interesting. They often seem like underdeveloped comedy reliefs. However, Sisu is a wonderful exception. She's a character with a touching backstory and a strong sense of morality. She's both a very heroic dragon and a very funny character. She's the most entertaining character in the film who gets the best jokes. While Sisu is so enjoyable that the film didn't really need other comedic characters, Raya and Sisu meet a group of comedic friends. I was worried that these characters wouldn't be charming and would hog up too much screentime. However, they are amusing characters who are used sparingly.

This film doesn't have any pure-evil supervillains. Instead, there's Namaari and her mother, Virana. Both of them are attempting to stop the 히어로즈 from accomplishing their goals. However, they both have understandable reasons for what they're doing. Both of them, especially the mother, often act morally-questionable, but neither of them are truly bad people. In fact, deep down, they both want to bring peace to the world.

Voice Cast:

Raya is voiced 의해 Kelly Marie Tran. Kelly Marie Tran is an actress who has had a difficult life when it comes to her film career. She was in two 별, 스타 Wars films: The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. 별, 스타 Wars 팬 really didn't like her character. Some of them acted like bullies who sent Kelly Marie Tran offensive, hurtful messages. Thankfully, 디즈니 has given her a chance to be the lead of a film. Kelly Marie Tran has been given the chance to prove that she's a talented voice actress. She helps give Raya charm and coolness. Kelly Marie Tran is an underrated actress that has been unfairly treated in the past. Hopefully, this film will help her get the respect that she deserves.

Sisu is voiced 의해 Awkwafina. A big part of Sisu's appeal comes from her voice. Awkwafina's voice is filled with entertaining and bubbly passion. Sisu is a character that has a lot of energy and passion. Awkwafina, who sounds an awful lot like voice-actress Cree Summer, has an excellent voice. Her performance is one of the best voice-performances from a recent 디즈니 film.

As a big 팬 of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, I was glad that the film had two voice performers from that show. Daniel Dae Kim, who voiced King Micah in She-Ra, voices Raya's father and Sandra Oh, who voiced Castaspella in She-Ra, voices Virana. Both of them do a very good job.

Animation:

디즈니 films often have appealing-looking animation, but some films stand-out from the others. This film has great animation. Raya is animated to look like a cool and powerful action hero. The most impressive 애니메이션 comes from Sisu. Sisu spends time in the film as both a dragon and as a human. Because of this, she has two wildly-different designs. Both look wonderful and help bring Sisu's bubbly personality to life. As a dragon, she looks majestic and eloquent. As a human, she looks quirky and charmingly eccentric. Her overly-long sleeves are a real highlight.

Overall:

Raya and the Last Dragon is one of Disney's best animated films. It has a suspenseful, emotional story that's filled with uplifting optimism and joyful entertainment. Raya is a strong addition to the 디즈니 princess lineup, while Sisu is one of the most enjoyable characters in Disney's long history. If 당신 want a film about working to achieve peace and togetherness, I highly recommend this film.

I get most people hate Pocahontas for its historical inaccuracy, and so do I. It just doesn't seem right to me to have John Smith (who was a Pervert, Betrayer, and Conquerer) as a 디즈니 prince and looked at in such a angelic light. Since most people's agreement is "it's just a movie." And "it's not Disney's job to make teach history." I'm not asking for a historically accurate film that would be terrible for children. I'm stating it was a mistake to be made a BASED of real history story..it could have just been a 랜덤 Native American but no they chose Pocahontas and they twisted and bent...

It was a fine 일 down in the South in New Orleans. Tiana and Naveen were at 집 enjoying their 일 off from Tiana's Palace. Tiana was fixing up some of her daddy's special gumbo for her and Naveen. As she was chopping the okra, Naveen came up behind her and wrapped his arms around Tia's waist. She looked beautiful: with her curly black hair pulled into a ponytail and a smile that was so contagious, Naveen couldn't help but smile too.
"Ma Belle Evangeline." Naveen sang softly into his wife's ear as he gently swayed Tiana's body.
"So far above me, yet I, know her 심장 belongs to only me." Tiana...

디즈니 Princesses are often criticized. And while I see some negative points in the franchise, mainly its tendency to reduce the characters to pretty woman in glittery clothes, I also think that those people who rage against the Princesses as if they are the devil incarnates (it’s frankly disturbing), overlook something: They are not just puppets. They are characters in movies, and those 영화 are way 더 많이 feminist than some people give the credit for. At least they should get some credit for being 영화 with female protagonists – god knows there are not a lot of them out there. But let’s...

Aurora would be an uninteresting, unrelatable, totally foolish, useless princess to Mulan. There is nothing about Aurora that 뮬란 would appreciate.

8.Rapunzel
Mulan would be annoyed at a lot of the foolish things Rapunzel does. There would be, to Mulan, a lot 더 많이 bad things than good. She would dislike the choices Rapunzel makes and just find her too childish.

I think this 기사 has been done before, but I want to go ahead and list the things that I think are each of their biggest faults which are what make them who they are, and make us 사랑 them even 더 많이 :)

Jasmine
I absolutely 사랑 Jasmine! She's got this fiery personality and is strong willed and speaks her mind. This is something I 사랑 about her, but can also put her at fault sometimes. She's a bit too harsh and feisty which makes her appear bitchy to some people. She comes across as too snappy and almost mean sometimes (like me! xD). This just makes her all the 더 많이 realistic and lovable...

Hello! It's been a while, but I randomly had this thought and no real place to share it. I know the 제목 sounds a bit outlandish, but I think my theory may have some merit.

To understand the Rapunzel story fully, we have to understand the origin of the fairytale and what its morals might be for the time it was created. The original german fairytale about a poor man stealing rampion plants from a witch has been heavily connected to possible sexual assault and the witch as a cultural 아이콘 has always been linked to a 쓴, 쓰라린 older spinster woman, who usually never found a husband and was therefor...

샬럿, 샬 롯
Charlotte
샬럿, 샬 롯 La Bouff was one of many characters in the movie The Princess and the Frog. 샬럿, 샬 롯 was as wonderful as Tiana, and she really deserves to be analyzed.

Characteristics

Unlike Tiana, 샬럿, 샬 롯 was a slightly spoiled and funny girl, crazy. 샬럿, 샬 롯 was very romantic, which I usually don't like, but the crazy and confident gestures she displayed during the romance were enough to cover it up. Charlotte's father, Mr. La Bouff, spoiled her and did whatever she wanted because they were rich. 샬럿, 샬 롯 grew up believing in fairy tales and true love, and she was confident that one 일 love...
