What had been Disney's inspiration in creating 메리다와 마법의 숲 and its main character, Merida? Merida is such a breakthrough in the typical princess character,she is so different from what princesses are usually pictured out to be.

I dont know what inspired to make this movie, but for sure I lovve it. It was 더 많이 that I expected. Merida is rebellious, but also a nice person inside. 디즈니 and 픽사 did a great job

The idea was thought of 의해 Brenda Chapman. She got the idea of the story based on something that she and her daughter went through (and also based on their 사랑 for fairy tales 의해 Grimm Brothers and Hans Christian Anderson). Her daughter and female friend were the inspiration for Merida. Chapman inspired 퀸 Elinor.
