After a whole 일 of Elena-how-could-yous and oh-poor-Damons, I came to realise that, Elena made the right decision of choosing Stefan RIGHT NOW.
It’s because she still loves him.

And so, she can’t be with Damon YET. “I care about you, which is why I have to let 당신 go”. I know we are all angry that it’s still “I care about you”, but say she admitted she loves Damon knowing that she’s choosing Stefan (for now) anyway, isn’t that just too cruel?
