I certainly get the point, and oh, my, did I let it out in Shadow Souls. 당신 are right. I was just telling a Swedish reader that 당신 should always follow your 심장 and in SS I did follow my heart. I didn't think anyone would like the book because it was about another dimension and the girls were slaves--my publishers tried so hard to cut that out, but I felt that Damon was 더 많이 mature when he had a "family" to care for. With that book, I followed my 심장 in everything.

There are some Stelena scenes, too, and I meant them; I felt them. But 읽기 it over was like a whack over the head. I still think it's the best book I've written since the original Vampire Diaries. And I do have to admit that the romance sort of sizzles about Damon and Elena. But whatever would I do with poor Stefan?

I'd better introduce some girl characters fast. But please remember, the endgame may not come for a while. I am at the mercy of Alloy Entertainment and Harper Publishers for this for the original 책 were "written for hire." That means that I was a desperate young writer who would sign over all my rights, just to get published and be promised that I'd see my 책 in actual bookstores. (Despite good reviews, this didn't happen with my first two books, Solstice and Valor.) So I don't own many rights in regard to The Vampire Diaries, and have to fight, tooth and nail, to have my own plots.

Would anyone possibly consider the "Katherine" solution? Elena is with Stefan for the 일 and with Damon for wild, wild nights? After all, men do it. They just don't mention their mistresses to their wives. Elena, being 더 많이 honest would want to be forthright about her choice. 또는 maybe she gets pregnant with Damon's baby...
In any case 당신 have excellent English. I don't even know where 당신 are from. But thanks for a thoughtful and passionate email!

Damonlover Gets pregnant with Damon's baby? Um, not such a big fan of that storyline.

LotusWhispers Hahahaha Spuffy xD I wouldn't mind the baby in a way because I think there is no way Stefan would be secure enough to be with Elena knowing her kid is Damon's.

katie15 What I've realised is LJ Smith wants to please EVERYONE and she can't possibly do that. Whatever she does she is going to upset someone though it would be great if Elena did get pregnant with Damon's baby because that means Delena end game is given more of a chance but I don't think this storyline would happen even though it would be funny.

lizzie_jo5 Elena is going to college in the next book so there is no way she will get pregnant with Damon... how would she attend college?? what a silly thing for LJSmith to even suggest!!!! especially since she knows very well she will not go down that story line

yiola He is human now. But I don't believe a word she says. She likes to tease and manipulate the fans. She's so contradictory all the time. And she keeps blaming her publishers for her decisions. Anyway I'm done with the books.

brokenheartlove @ Madelayna if you reeeeally wanna know Damon becomes human ;) Through some twist of fate. I think L.J. is trying to have people perceive her as a neutral person in the couple wars- hence her responses please everyone. But I can't be mad at her because she did create such a amazing story [Vampire Diaries] and an amazing character [Damon] and a beautiful love [Delena]. I'm gonna purchase Midnight, but Imma skip over the Bamon and Stelena scenes && go straight for the adventure and the Delena romance ;)

bratski2192 This is ok i guess. But there r a few things that doesnt make sense to me at all. I know LJ wants to please all fanbases as best she can, but again, what she says about DE in this e-mail is contradicting everything. First of all, she said that The Return Trilogy was about Elena falling in love with Damon to the same extent that she loves Stefan & for Damon to learn from his previous selfish love for Elena to become more selfless & real. She basically said he is in love with her. Then, she said in that Bamon preview that Damon was basically meant for Bonnie all along, Damon only sees Elena as a goal, & Bonnie makes Damon more human. Now she says there romance between DE?! This just makes me roll my eyes. If shes so adamant that she does love the romance for DE, then y the heck is she praising Bamon, writing DE off as Elena the one with the real feelings while Damons is just about personal want, & them the popularity of Delena being just cuz of Ian Somerhalder? This just frustrates me to no end. Either Damon loves Elena or he doesnt (which I am absolutely sure he does). Make up ur mind. If Elena didnt make Damon more human & whatnot, then y did the child in his soul hold onto her for dear life? Y didnt it call out or Bonnie if she truly is his weak spot & has more feelings for her that r hidden deep down? It just doesnt add up im sorry. Ok done ranting lol. Truly am frustrated.

Delenaness L.J. is trying to convince everyone to buying her books!!! With all what happened recent days... I'm not buy her books, not anymore! Except if it's on Delena focused :P A fling with consequences... Damon get Elena pregnant LOL I doubt that, but it would be very hilarious... ( why not at college... this reminds me of Ninas role in Degrassi: Mia. She got pregnant at 13). And then what? OMG is she trying to do a ,,Pearl Harbor" Love Triangle Remake... Damon dies and Stefan raises his child with Elena together, oh dear! At least his not with Bonnie then muahaha BTW I see similarities between Stefans and Bonnies character... maybe they are Twin Flames like Damon and Elena *with a wink* But then what about poor Matt... he would lost the next girl to Stefan.

Madelayna how can a vampire, someone who died, become human again lol? has he resurrected or something haha? anyways, I wouldn't want it in the show. But thanks for enlightening me ;)

katie15 [i]apparently LJ asked to not publish it there[/i] Having respect brings respect and LJ Smith hasn't respected us. I mean, she basically called us [i]shallow[/i] because in her mind we all ship Delena because Ian is hot and she's trying to take away the minority of her fanbase's fears and not the majority, hence we deserve to see this. In my opinion though,I think she will say anything to [b]all[/b] fans regardless of the couple they like so that she doesn't lose fans. However, I think she's just digging a bigger whole for herself the more she emails people and the more she posts in her stupid blog.

Delenaness I don't like the cheating on Stefan part, too. But the worst thing would be when Damon would fall for Bonnie (OOC). That would completely destroy his character. It wouldn't be bearable. Elena is the only one Damon loves so deeply. Why is she trying to appeal the minority of her fanbase = BD? She's losing all the DE fans!!! The bigger part of her readers. Now they don't wanna buy her books. If her publishers want to make more profit with the book series, because of the success the show has....why can't they see, that they would make more money with Delena fans??? And L.J. called us virtually shallow...thereby we are the only ones which loves Damons character (currently:P). But the most of the BD fans dislike him! They want only Elena far away from Damon, cos they are mainly SE fans. That I would call shallow. Hey, L.J. had studied psychology. Maybe she likes to play with all the fanbases mind games LOL Or she has a multiple personality disorder IDK She should finish her series finitely, and say absolutely nothing to anyone more, cos she cannot persuade all the fans to buy her books. brokenheartlove I agree ^^ I think that the whole "Maybe she gets pregnant with Damon's birthday" thing makes Elena look slutty. Seriously? Elena would NEVER sleep with Damon while dating Stefan. If Elena was like that, then no one would like Elena! Sure, I'm all for Damon staying human and marrying Elena (who somehow broke up with Stefan), and then having kids with her and finally having his happily ever after, but I think that is a long shot with what L.J. is saying. In midnight, apparently, "Damon is racked with human emotions and reactions to Elena." (LJ Blog) L.J. said in her latest blog: "...Please don’t despair, Delena, Bamon, and Stelena fans. Midnight is coming and, although Damon might be accused of not knowing his own mind, he is beginning to emerge from his shell enough to care deeply for two girls." (LJ Blog)

DaniKatZ ^ if elena sleeps with Damon while he's human, then yes, she can have a baby with Damon.

missdaytona6 Honestly I am so frustrated with everything, delena is the only endgame that makes sense after all of these books. I mean as an innocent reader I would undoubtedly think delena is endgame whether I am a Bamon or a stelena fan. I do think delena is endgame even if it’s not official. Bamon is non existent, it’s just plain stupid, Damon never loved Bonnie and if you truly know the books, Bonnie and Damon are far away from being “something”, they’re not real and they will never be. Here I am waiting for a proper delena endgame, and I just want also a proper sex scene between them (lol), I mean after all the things they’ been through- it would be LEGENDARY. Delena is the endgame of the vampire Diaries. I don’t know about the show, I tried to watch the show but I lost brain cells so I gave up, also I hate Ian Somerhalder but that’s another topic. Anyway, delena is endgame. Period.
