Ever since Delena 팬 have been around, we have been waiting for a 'I 사랑 you' 또는 a "I like you'. Since we have already gotten the 초 one we are very anxiously awaiting for the first one. The big 'L'. And since it didn't take Elena that long to tell Stefan she loved him then, we think, why can't she say it to Damon? Doesn't she 사랑 him? Well here are a few 답변 that I think may be the solution.
It seems very apparent that Elena loves Damon, even quite obvious. At this point in the season she if looking ultra obvious about her feelings for Damon.
Damon seems to be noticing this in her as well, and it seems he is waiting for her to say it to him but even though now wouldn't be the best time to say it, and that is true. Though they may 사랑 each other now would be a horrible time to say it. They are working together so well that if Elena suddenly tells him she loves him, this will all fall apart. They will become so involved in each other, and yes, sure that would be awesome but at the right time, when Elena doesn't have to worry about Stefan all the time. When all her time and thoughts are pointed at Damon.
Also, what kind of a person would that make Elena? Her friend (I am no longer called Stefan her boyfriend because he clearly isn't) is in horrible trouble and needs help and Elena needs to focus on getting him back. When Stefan does come back obviously things between her and Stefan are not going to work. The way he treated her even before he had been compelled, yeah sure he had protected her but its going to take Elena a lot of time to even begin to trust Stefan again. And meanwhile, she has begun trusting Damon like no one else she has ever trusted. So we must just be patient. One of the things said 의해 the producers was that they would start focusing on Damon and Elena's relationship in the 초 half of the season. Here is the calculation:
Half Season = Episode 12
Newest Episode= Episode 6
This means we are not only half way to the half way mark of the season, but also half way to some serious Damon and Elena episodes! We have 6 weeks to go guys! So get your piercings now and 의해 the time 당신 can take the new earring out, it will be Delena time! AND we have 6 highly enjoyable episodes to watch while we wait it out! This is great because so far, Season 3 is definitely the best season so far, and every episode is brilliant. So hold on tight! Because the Delena is yet to arrive!

I am in 사랑 with Vampire Diaries. However, it is my duty as a 팬 to not stand aside and watch the writers and the 팬 of this spectacular show make the biggest mistake ever! 사랑 is a very passionate thing and no matter who Elena chooses in the end if she chooses stefan..... it will be the biggest mistake she will ever make in her life and for the Stelena fans..... 당신 know I am write and 당신 are probably thinking who the hell is this person Stefan is hot, well i will admit he is pretty hot, but 사랑 depends on passion and how much a person connects and damon and elena have a relationship(besides the sire bond) that i am pretty sure any girl 또는 maybe guy....... would kill for. so if the writers choose the wrong one i am sorry to say but they do not understand 사랑 and that is a shame because this is the perfect 사랑 story.
