Tonight Will Change Our Lives
He couldn't believe his eyes. He felt like his 심장 had been ripped from his chest and thrown to the floor. He couldn't breathe. This wasn’t right. Blair was not meant to be with Nate, she was meant to be with him. They were Chuck and Blair, Blair and Chuck. Nothing mattered without her and he had ruined everything.
If he had just told her that he loved her none of this would be happening. Why couldn't he say it? He felt it but couldn't say it. He knew that he loved her, always had always would. She was his forever and always. If only he could tell her that.
Chuck watched as Nate kissed Blair goodbye and walked out of the park. He wanted to go and talk to her but all of a sudden his legs felt like if he took one step they would crumble beneath him. He had never felt this way before, not even when he had seen her with Marcus, that had hurt but not like this. This was different. New and 더 많이 painful than he could ever have imagined.
Nate had always been her first love, he had known that but somehow he thought that he would be her last. He wanted her to be the last girl he ever kissed, ever slept with, ever loved and he wanted her to feel the same. She had once and he had ruined it. She had finally said those three little words and he had left. He was looking at her now, in awe of her beauty. She was perfect, everything he had ever wanted and would ever want. He needed the courage to walk up to her and tell her how he felt. But he was scared, scared that if he did everything would change, but she was worth the risk.
Deep breath. In and out. He could do this. He had to do this, before it was too late. She was leaving, he had to act now.
C: Blair, wait!
B: (turning round) Chuck what are 당신 doing here?
C: I saw you, with Nate. 당신 don’t 사랑 him.
B: 당신 don’t know anything about our relationship.
C: I know 당신 don’t belong with him, never have, never will.
B: Oh really? So who do I belong with Chuck? Can 당신 tell me that?
C: Me.
B: 당신 don’t want a girlfriend remember. 당신 don’t want the commitment, we’ve tried it before and all I got was a broken 심장 and a solo trip to Europe.
C: I’m sorry about that; 당신 know I am, if I could take it back I would.
B: But 당신 can’t. It happened but it doesn’t matter anymore. I fought for you, even when 당신 didn’t want my love. I fought and 당신 threw it back in my face.
C: I know, but…
B: No buts Chuck. I gave 당신 every part of me but 당신 didn’t want any of it. Goodbye Chuck. (She turns to leave but Chuck grabs her wrist)
(Blair exhales deeply)
B: What Chuck?
C: Don’t go.
B: Give me one good reason why I should stay.
C: Because… (Chuck kisses her)
B: That’s not enough this time, sorry (with tears in her eyes she turns to leave)
C: Because I 사랑 you. Only you. (She slowly turns around)

C: I 사랑 you. Even when 당신 were with Nate I knew that I had feelings for you, but that night at Victrola I knew it was so much more. Ever since then I’ve been trying to tell you, but I’ve never had the courage. Until now.
B: Chuck, don’t say it if 당신 don’t mean it. We’ve been through a lot that should have broken me but if I start to hope and it doesn’t happen that would be the last straw. I couldn’t recover from that.
C: I meant every word; 당신 are the girl for me Blair Warldorf. That’s never going to change. I am going to 사랑 당신 forever. Forever and always.
Long pause.
C: Say something please.
B: 키스 me.
C: Really?
B: Yes. I want the fireworks again.
They 키스 and eventually break apart.
C: (whispers in Blair’s ear) I 사랑 당신 Blair Warldorf, always have, always will. 당신 changed my life.
Blair smiled a dazzling smile that Chuck has missed so much, he is powerless before that smile and can’t help but 키스 her again. He takes her hand and leads her out of the park, both smiling all the way.
She was the girl he wanted, and he had finally had the courage to tell her that. He had always thought that once he told her that would be the end for them, that it would all be different. In some sense he was right; everything was different and would never be the same again. But it wasn’t the end, this was the start of something better than he could have ever expected.
