Japanese music is the "music phase" that I am currently going through, so anime music is, basically, all that I have been listening to. x)

@IllusionDolls Me too! Lately that's all i've been wanting to listen too. I love looking up the lyrics too and they just seem so much more powerful than a lot of the English songs now. Japanese music just seems so beautiful and soulful to me right now

I only have anime music since 2 and a half year now and I don´t plan on changing that ^.^

A few anime soundtrack albums, yes, so it's still quite a lot but it doesn't really take up most of the space of my music player. I still prefer listening to songs by mainstream artists after all.

@SweetMoonlight I agree. I really admire the general writing style from Japanese musicians; it's so much better than that of the mainstream and more internationally-known pop music. The songs are written as if they are a poem, and/or a story, and unlike repeat love or "hurt" anthems from the radio, you can truly feel the emotion and believe what is written, even if you cannot relate to it. Some of its music that you can't even understand will bring a pang to your heart area, when listening, but as for radio music that you can understand....just an empty and annoyed feeling.

Not only that, but the songs are catchier. ^-^
