If you're 읽기 this, then chances are 당신 almost certainly recognize the name "Alpha and Omega". I mean, 당신 are part of the Alpha and Omega 팬 club. Everyone has their story of how they first discovered a 가장 좋아하는 movie 또는 book for the very first time, but I'll tell 당신 now, my story of discovery and rediscovery is probably one the most unique you'll ever hear. My life in the future may very well have been changed because I found Alpha and Omega again after completely forgetting about it for years. I don't know if I should call this story one of chance 또는 not because everything had to fall into place so perfectly. If even a single thing hadn't happened, the fanfictions that I know some of 당신 have come to enjoy wouldn't exist and I would've completely forgotten about Alpha and Omega, just another part of my childhood that I would never remember. So, in honor of the 10th anniversary of Alpha and Omega, I've decided to share the story of how it could very well have changed my entire life forever. This is my Alpha and Omega story.
Alpha and Omega came out in theaters on September 17th, 2010, when I was 7 years old. I didn't see it in the theater. I didn't even know about it then. It was only after it became available in video rental stores that I learned of its existence. I'm one of the lucky few who knows what a video rental store was for someone who's in high school. Seeing as how most kids at my school don't know what they are, I'm guessing the one that I lived 다음 to was one of the last ones to go. It's also probably the first place where I saw a 별, 스타 Wars movie, although I still can't remember which 별, 스타 Wars was my first, which means I was probably introduced at a very early age.
I feel old just saying "video rental store". We also had a pay phone in our local gas station. It stayed up for quite a while after most of them were gone so I like to think that they had just forgotten to take it down.
My dad and I rented 영화 from there all the time and Alpha and Omega was one of them; one of the most frequent actually. We rented it so many times, I can't even make a good estimate as to how many times I saw it as a kid.
Aside from 별, 스타 Wars, it was my 가장 좋아하는 movie. And then the movie rental store closed. They had a big sale where they sold all the 영화 and we went to get some. Unfortunately, 또는 should I say fortunately, I completely forgot about Alpha and Omega because, at the time, we didn't own any 별, 스타 Wars movies, so my mind was only thinking about that. I remember, I was so excited that I went up and grabbed all six of them off the shelf and then was like "okay, let's go". But my parents said I could only get one, so I picked Revenge of the Sith, still my favorite, 의해 the way.
My decision to pick 별, 스타 Wars over Alpha and Omega is one of the many things that had to happen in order for my fanfictions and everything else to exist. If I had picked Alpha and Omega over 별, 스타 Wars, sure, I would've watched it a lot at first, but I would've eventually grown out of it and dismissed it as "just another kids' movie".
Years passed and I eventually forgot all about Alpha and Omega. Then one day, about two years ago, I was paging through Netflix when I came across a familiar title: Alpha and Omega. My first thought, as the nostalgia came over me, was, "Oh hey, I remember this." I noticed a bunch of other 영화 that were shorter and so, at first, I thought that they were little half 시간 mini movies. I guess I wasn't too far off. I told myself that I'd watch them later, but I never got to it as we began moving in late December of 2017.
During the move, I once again, completely forgot about it. It took at least two 또는 three days to 옮기기 everything down to our new house an 시간 and a half south of where we used to live. Of course, saying goodbye to my 프렌즈 was sad as we had the absolute best of times together. I could go on and on about all the great memories I have with them, but for now, I'll say this: I will never forget a single moment of it. Not many kids can say this nowadays but playing outside was a staple of my childhood. Luckily, they all moved soon after I did so it's not like we would've had that much 더 많이 fun anyway. And I've been having a ton of fun with my new 프렌즈 in high school. Stupid things have been done with both groups of 프렌즈 and I don't regret any of it.
(But enough about that. If 당신 want to see some of the crazy stuff that happens at my high school, I've got a YouTube channel all about it called JNeumy High School.)
Anyways, we took a 일 off after moving everything to the new house because we were tired of driving three hours a day. We set up the TV and the computer and just relaxed. Then we went back up to start cleaning which took about a week. I helped with most of the cleaning, but then I did something kind of selfish that I don't regret now that I'm looking back on it.
One day, while we were in the middle of cleaning, my back started hurting. I had fallen off a cliff three 또는 so years back and had gotten a small fracture on a couple of my vertebrae, so my back is kind of compromised and I'm likely to get back problems later in life, but that's a whole other story. The point is, that because of my accident a few years back, occasional and sudden back pain was expected. However, I kind of milked it enough so that my parents let me stay 집 the 다음 일 when they went back up to clean, even though I very well could have helped just fine. The truth is that I wanted to stay 집 and chill and not have to do any work. That selfishness proved critical to my rediscovery and newfound 사랑 for Alpha and Omega as 당신 will soon see.
I was on the computer watching YouTube for most of the day, catching up on notifications and some other stuff, when I came across something. Before I get into any 더 많이 detail about what I found, I'm going to say something that's very personal first. I'm not proud about how I found it and I ask that 당신 please don't judge me for this. I am not perfect.
The way I found this specific video was that I was looking at vore. It's not something I do anymore, and I am ashamed of it now. I found a clip from a kids' show called "Skylanders Academy". I was familiar with the name for two reasons. 1) I had seen it pop up on Netflix many times while I was scrolling through and 2) that specific clip had shown up many times before while I was searching but I just ignored it in the past because I wasn't into that specific type of vore. But that 일 on the computer, curiosity got the better of me and I decided to check it out. Looking back, I can't help but say I'm glad I did.
I'm not going to go into detail about the clip, but I will say that I was caught off guard when I recognized the voice of one of the characters; Spyro the dragon. I already loved Skylanders as a whole because I used to play it all the time as a kid when I went to my friend's house. And my 가장 좋아하는 character to play as was Spyro, yet I don't know why to this day.
Spyro's voice caught me completely off guard because it sounded very familiar, yet when I tried to place it, I couldn't. I tried thinking of characters from the two main shows I had been watching, 별, 스타 Wars Rebels and Dragons: Race to the Edge but I couldn't figure out where I had heard it before. Instead of looking it up, I just decided to keep watching YouTube.
Watching shows and 영화 that are made for kids is a guilty pleasure of mine and I will not watch them unless I'm completely alone because people will think that I'm too old for it. The three main shows/movies that I watch that I would be "too old for" are Skylanders Academy, Alpha and Omega, and Dragons: Rescue Riders. Look them up and you'll see why I would be "too old" pretty quickly. The main reason I 사랑 shows like these are because of the style of humor. I 사랑 sarcasm and the humor in these shows is all about the tone of the character's voice and the actors who play the parts play them so well, it's hard not to laugh at it. Plus the characters' personalities are so lively, it's hard for me not to like them. They're also very similar to Rebels and Race to the Edge in the sense of how good the humor is, which is partly why I took some 인용구 from them in my first two fanfictions.
Anyway, I decided that I kind of liked Skylanders Academy and started watching it on Netflix and that's what I did for the rest of the day, and I completely forgot about the familiarity of Spyro's voice. It wasn't until a few days after we had finally settled in that I would finally figure out where I recognized it from.
I was scrolling through Netflix once again and I saw Alpha and Omega. I told myself again that I would watch them sometime, but my parents were gone grocery shopping and since it's one of my biggest guilty pleasures, I wanted to make sure that I would have enough time to watch the whole movie without being interrupted 의해 them possibly walking through the door. So I decided to watch the trailer instead, to see what I remembered, which wasn't much apparently.
As the trailer for the original movie kept playing, I was actually beginning to have serious doubts on whether 또는 not this actually was the movie I was thinking of. At the time, all I remembered from renting it from the store was something about wolves, a log, surfing on water (which apparently only happened on the cover) and a 제목 that I was pretty sure was Alpha and Omega. I remembered literally none of the plot, none of the characters, nothing. Everything I listed above is literally all I remembered.
It had been about seven years since I had seen it last.
However, there were two parts in the trailer that made me know for certain that this was the movie I was thinking about and that's because they were my two 가장 좋아하는 moments in the movie. The first is when Humphrey says "Ida-who?" and the 초 is when he and Kate are in the back of the camper and he says, "I have to go", she says "You can't leave. Can't 당신 hold it?", and he goes "No, I can't". When I saw those, I knew for sure that this was the right movie. But they also helped me figure out where I heard Spyro's voice before. It wasn't from any shows I had been watching recently, it was from Alpha and Omega, even though I didn't remember what Humphrey sounded like. I knew immediately that it was Humphrey when he said "Ida-who" because I could hear the similarities.
I finally Googled it to make sure and sure enough, both Spyro and Humphrey were voiced 의해 Justin Long. The really cool thing is that, as a kid, I didn't pay much attention to the voices of the characters. I just cared about the movie. People always say that 당신 remember literally everything. Every sight, smell, sound, taste that you've ever experienced is stored in your brain. All of it. Even the little, insignificant things that 당신 don't pay attention to. It's all just stored in your subconscious. Even from when 당신 were a baby. It's all there, it's just that it's harder to remember those things.
So I like to think that it was a sort of "subconscious memory" of Humphrey's voice. I consciously forgot what it sounded like completely, but my brain still remembered it after all those years and when it heard it again, it remembered, but since it had been so long, it was 더 많이 of like deja vu in the sense that maybe it sounded like a voice I had heard before, but in reality it wasn't. But the memory of Humphrey's voice was still there, and it was only after I heard his voice again did I completely remember. That's probably the most remarkable part of this story; the way my brain remembered the voice when I couldn't.
After I finally made that connection, I got this newfound 사랑 for Alpha and Omega and so I finally decided to actually watch it again. When I was a kid, my dad and I watched a lot of shows and 영화 together. Clone Wars, Thomas the Tank Engine, we even stayed up late some nights to watch He-Man. So we decided to do a sort of, nostalgic father-son movie night and watch the things that we used to watch together.
As I've said before, Alpha and Omega was on Netflix, so that was my only way of watching it. My parents had taken a couple weeks off of work for the 옮기기 and I didn't go back to school for a 월 after 크리스마스 Break ended because the new semester was going to start anyway. (So I ended up getting a 월 of 크리스마스 Vacation instead of two weeks, which was great.) As I've also said before, Alpha and Omega was now a guilty pleasure since I wanted to watch it again. However, since my parents were always home, I couldn't exactly do that without them knowing.
So, admittedly, I did use the father-son nostalgia night thing as a way for me to watch A&O sooner, but it did turn out to be a lot of fun. We made popcorn, sat down on the couch, and watched at least four different things that we used to watch together. My mom went to 침대 early so the night was pretty much ours.
After that, I was browsing through channels on TV when I thought, "I wonder if they play it on TV". So I started looking and sure enough, on HBO family, they played the sequels fairly often. I set the DVR to record and so my first sequel that I watched was "A Howl-iday Adventure".
That summer, I stayed up late one night on my phone and my mind drifted to the 질문 that all Alpha and Omega 팬 ask eventually: Who are Humphrey's parents?
I searched it up and one of the first results was a link to a website called Fanpop. The link took me to an Alpha and Omega quiz, and it was there that I learned that we never really find out who his parents are. It's also where I learned that his name means "peaceful warrior". Knowing that the 표, 테이블 was open as to who Humphrey's parents were and seeing that plenty of other people had written stories about them, I decided to write one myself. Now, it's kind of funny because, recently, people are being very critical about 영화 and are overanalyzing everything. (The Last Jedi is a perfect example). I'm mainly staying out of it and I don't really care what "flaws" 또는 plot holes people are saying these 영화 have. I'm just enjoying them for what they are and am not questioning any of it. Yet it was this exact thing that led me to write my first fanfiction, which was, at first, intended entirely to fix a plot hole, the very thing that I am now trying to avoid in other movies.
But now my stories have grown beyond just fixing a plot hole. Now I write them because it's fun, and I like explaining the now complex history of the franchise. Unfortunately, I'm running out of ideas quickly so there's only going to be a few 더 많이 until I'm done for good.
I originally intended for A&O 10: The Legend of the Peaceful Warrior to be the end of the franchise, what with...SPOILERS Humphrey's death and all, but then I knew that I still left a lot of room as to what exactly happened to him in the wilderness when he was a pup. Not to mention the fact that I could still expand on Adam being forced to lead the pack at such a young age, Kenya's experience as a pet, and clearing up another plot hole; Garth's mother. That turned into Alpha and Omega: A Hero's Past, the first chapter of which I'll post as soon as this goes up.
However, after I got everything sorted out for A Hero's Past, I still had some ideas. For one, I always kind of wanted to see how Humphrey reacted to learning that he was going to be a dad when Kate got pregnant and then I had the idea of "they've faced a lot of enemies that fight with brawn, but what if they fought a psychological villain, an evil genius who's almost impossible to outthink?" And that's where I came up with the idea of doing three final stories to finally end it all.
Newest Additions would be the first one about Kate's pregnancy and would take place during the five-ish 년 time span between 1 and 2. Then there would be a two-part grand finale where Stinky, Claudette, and Runt fight Viggo Grimskull, also known as "The Wolfslayer" in The 다음 Generation and The Final War. I also originally planned for the stories to be released in five-year increments so that The Final War would be released on the 25-year anniversary of the original movie. However, I got so excited about the thought of Viggo and The Final War in general, that I began 글쓰기 a script right away.
I got pretty far into it and it wasn't until last 년 that I decided to scrap the whole five-year increment plan and just wait until I completely finished 글쓰기 it and then release it on September 17th of whatever 년 it was when I finished.
Soon, after, as A Hero's Past neared completion, I started thinking about ideas for Newest Additions, except I had absolutely none other than when it would take place, and that Humphrey would've had to 가입하기 the hunting party since Kate wouldn't be able to do it. I guess I actually had 더 많이 ideas than I thought. Humphrey would've asked his adoptive parents for help, he would've been framed for murder which would've led to the creation of the Rogue Wolves. But the main problem was making the chapters long enough. I wanted ten chapters and at least a thousand words each. But I had pretty much no ideas on how to fill them up with content to make them a thousand words. So, I eventually scrapped the idea altogether and decided on making the two-part finale into a trilogy.
So here's what I did. I had a general idea for the script of The 다음 Generation. When I decided to make a final trilogy instead of a two-parter, I replaced the name of The 다음 Generation with The Rise of Grimskull, since that's when we first meet Viggo, and I made it the middle story. I then took the name "The 다음 Generation" and made it into a story about the pups grown up, 17 years after Humphrey's death, and they have been fighting war after war with countless critters when they come across the very hostile pack of 늑대 who serve Viggo, although the pups don't know that yet.
As of 글쓰기 this, I have little to no ideas for chapter names 또는 general story 또는 any of that. All I really have is a couple sentences that open the story and then some loose ideas of 인용구 and some funny and serious moments I want to put into it.
As for The Final War, any info on that is confidential, meaning that I will reveal absolutely nothing about it until the release 날짜 rolls around. I do plan to release a lot of stuff shortly beforehand. 표, 테이블 of Contents, an excerpt, character profiles, and a playlist of songs I chose for the unofficial soundtrack, along with an Avengers Endgame style curtain call video and a complete Alpha and Omega franchise timeline.
But Alpha and Omega has done much 더 많이 in my life than just my fanfictions. It has inspired me to become an actor. I got the idea not long after I found out that Justin Long voiced Spyro and Humphrey, two very important figures in my childhood. I thought that it would be pretty cool to do the same thing, to be a part of someone's childhood, something that they'll hold onto and cherish forever. Two 더 많이 important people are David Tennant, because he did the Doctor in Doctor Who, a droid in Clone Wars, and has a fairly big role in Race to the Edge. The 초 is Mark Hamill because aside from being Luke Skywalker and Darth Bane, he's also the Joker and he voices a character from Race to the Edge, along with the villain of a 가장 좋아하는 game of mine.
Being an influential part of someone's life is a great dream of mine now, not for the fame 또는 fortune, but for the fact that I'll make a difference in someone's life. Not to mention the fact that 당신 seem to have a lot of fun along the way.
Alpha and Omega is such an important part of my life and to think that (if I do become an actor) my whole life wouldn't be the same, if I hadn't picked 별, 스타 Wars over A&O, 또는 if I hadn't lied about my back hurting, 또는 even if I hadn't watched vore. Who knew that something bad like that could possibly change your life for the better.

So yeah, I ran out of Ideas for the left for dead crossover. Instead, I am doing a dead rising crossover.
It was supposed to be a simple group project. Shoot a and make a movie, then show it. Its was a simple documentary on urban environment. Well we decided to take it to Fortune City. The only problem is..... is swarming with zombies. Now trapped in the city, and with only 72 hours to escape. Humphrey, Lilly, Garth and I will have to do what it takes to
survive. And in this film, this aint no special effects
